Hi Nadine - Esteban actually just uses tape to attach this hair system. He uses Extenda-Bond Plus www.lordhair.com/extenda-bond-plus-tape.html and Walker Tape Lace Front www.lordhair.com/lace-front-support-tape-roll-3-4-inch-wide-3-yards-long.html.
@@NADINEMILLY-ge4vi No, these are major brands so you'll find them anywhere. They'll be on Amazon, for example, or sold by an online retailer. By the way, we don't sell glue so you won't find Ghost Bond on our site.
Tip-spraying isopropyl on tape that is on poly is not needed and actually makes it harder to move due to making it slippery. The isopropyl cannot penetrate the plastic tape back or the poly. Just strip it off. The tape on lace you spray from hair side. Do this while on head and it will release from hair system and tape will stick to scalp. Just peal it from scalp after and peal rest of system off your scalp, then remove tape from poly with no isopropyl. Then spray unit edges with solvent to remove left over gum. Leave solvent sit for a while and rub off poly parts with paper towel and use a mirror slide to remove gum from lace front. Then clean mirror with Windex or other glass cleaner. After cleaning and putting tape on unit, take paper backing off all tape and spray new tape with isopropyl and spray your head all very quickly because it evaporates quickly. Put unit on head quickly, you have about a minute to adjust your unit position. When correct, then let the isopropyl dry and your unit is stuck. Good Luck.
How do you remove stockiness and residue of tape and glue? When i remove tape the stickiness still remains on the border of my hair unit m i use mono. I tried c22 spray to remove that stickiness and it didn't help
I use "Goo Gone", you can get it at hardware stores, Home Depot etc. It is orange and is an orange product. It has a spray nozzle that I try to ease some out(a few drops) off on the poly and then smear or spread with my finger to all poly areas. It washes out with shampoo. Leave it on for ten minutes and wipe with a paper towel from outer edge toward inner edge. If really gluey, you may have to repeat. When done there should not be any stickiness to the touch. Then wash unit, apply conditioner and Live a Happy Life!
Hi there - it's probably best you just search online for somewhere that sells hair system care/maintenance products as there are several to choose from and searching yourself means you can be sure that you find somewhere that is based in/ships to your country.
