Here's a breakdown of how to remove and clean your men's hair system:
1️⃣ Apply adhesive remover
2️⃣ Remove hair system
3️⃣ Pick/peel tape from base
4️⃣ Remove residue from base
5️⃣ Clean base
6️⃣ Shampoo hair
7️⃣ Dry
8️⃣ Clean base again

I just recently learned about the cotton balls method. What I’ve done for the past 2 years is: Apply isopropyl alcohol to the glued skin with paper towel (70% seems to work better), let it sit for a few mins, then take a strong dry paper towel and it rolls right off. You may need to repeat the process a few times. After glue is off, carefully comb out excess glue from side hair. ALWAYS work from center and out to avoid tearing skin on system and loosening any loops of hair. After glue is off, shampoo and condition hair. Then wash skin base with Dawn dish detergent to remove any leftover oils. Pat dry with towel. The systems were designed to last around 2-3 months but I’ve stretched some out to 4-5 months, just taking care of it properly. Be careful not to use too much alcohol on the base as it can dry it out, especially on the hairline. This is why some people use solvent. I personally have not had success with the solvent, but I will try this with cotton balls

Prasad uses C22 Solvent Spray by Walker Tape to remove his hair system and some kind of isopropyl alcohol to remove the tape from the base.

why did washing the system cause lots of hair shedding for french lace system?

Are you referring to one of our hair systems? It could be the knotting method as some knotting methods are prone to more shedding but you, of course, need to handle any hair system with care when washing/doing maintenance. Please just get in touch with your customer service rep as they'll be happy to look into possible causes for this shedding.

Hi Sujan - let's see what others say but alcohol is just part of the process. You would also wash your scalp like you would your own hair beforehand.

After u dabbed the cotton on the glue u applied a liquid on after which helped to remove the glue! What is that liquid?

this is to much work brother i tried it you must do it all 2 or 3 days sometimes the front not holding and threw it away after that i did 2hairtransplant in istanbul an now with a little bit toppik im very happy dont waste your time go make a hairtransplant with bht body hairs from beard and chest

Sorry about your hair system experience, Umut, but wearing a hair system does get easier with time. You might only need to do what Prasad is doing in this video once a week or even every two weeks.

Umut, I have friends who have had the hair implants in Istanbul. Unfortunately a lot of them are having issues with scarring and melatonin. It works for some people but not all. And I agree with the above comment that it does get easier over time. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. It really depends on what kind of glue you’re using. Usually I only glue my front, and tape the top and back. The tape sticks for a week or 2. Much easier to peel off. I hope you find something that works for you!

@@mickyt6651 I have friends that are daily users of melatonin for sleep, and after their hair transplants, it really wasn’t growing back properly. They thought the plugs were being rejected. Their doc told them to stop taking the melatonin, and it grew. Apparently it has some counter effect with hair growth. I didn’t know that before I looked into the process myself
