You've seen me do my hair transformations in short videos with almost no commentary for years, but this time I decided to talk you through the whole thing in an extra-long, vlog-style vid! It was fun to do something new, but be sure to let me know if you prefer the original format or if I should do more like this 👀Oh! And what do you think of the new hair? :D
her sister posts art on instagram and someone commented asking if kero was okay back in april of this year, keros sister said she is alright and is “living her life off the internet these days” so yes kero is alive and well, it is confirmed by her sister. so all this speculation can stop now
Interesting. I wonder if it was another idiot stalker ruining her life and she just had to run away from it all, like so many other attractive female youtube ppl. If your comment is true, then I'm glad she's ok and living her life. But I'm still very sad (and a little angry) to see her completely disappear from all social medias with no warning or goodbye at all. It's also a little bit gross that she's still accepting patreon donations when she's no longer active... like at all.
Bro I have felt that for so long. I remember watching her dreadlock vids and like she is still so beautiful and like besides her piercings hasn’t changed at all ❤️
Miss you, Kero. You were such a fun content creator to watch and very talented. I selfishly want to see an upload from you one day again, but if you're living your best life off the internet, do the thing, girly.
Man, i hope you arent over youtube! I miss your vids. Im a hairstylist now, i was a teen when I started watching you :) and i started cutting my own hair bc of you, turned it into my career :) Wishing you all the best
@@marzipanmango red is actually the easiest color to get out generally because it has the biggest dye molecule which causes most of the color to stain the top of the hair strand rather than penetrate it. Color remover should get it out fine, bleach can sometimes cause the dye to stain even deeper depending on the brand of dye
I’ve had two deathhawks in my life and let me tell you, it’s an awful hell circle you can’t escape. First, you get a deathhawk, you love it but soon start thinking too much about it “It’s too long/It’s too short/It’s too uneven” yadda yadda, then you think “but it will take sooo long to grow out and will look awful in the process (so of course your very smart idea is to start growing it out) and after MONTHS almost YEARS when you finally grew it out you start thinking “But I wanted a deathhawk not this boring haircut :(“ and then THE WHOLE ORDEAL STARTS AGAIN. But anyways, do it! You will regret it but it’s sooo worth it.
@@maggotst.pierre2361 Hahaha, very close actually! I suffer from ADHD so my impulse control is basically non existent and I have very extreme mood shifts. Ever since I got on meds a few months ago I’ve gotten a lot better though. But if I had a very bad depressive episode before I was diagnosed with ADHD I was basically almost in a manic like state. Bought tons of thinks without thinking about the money I spent on it, dyed, shaved, cut my hair - you name it. I hope you have a good way of dealing with your manic episodes, I would never say that I absolutely understand your struggle as an outsider without Bipolar, but I can very much relate to it. (I just googled it and I read that Bipolar and ADHD are actually often confused, because some symptoms are very similar. It’s so interesting to learn new things about mental health every once in a while! Take care!)
A tip for your ear tails, that should give you that layered effect: cut a tiny section at the length you want them, with them down, as they sit naturally. Then pick them up and pull them out at a 90 degree angle from your scalp, and just blunt cut. This way all the hairs should be the same lenght, so when you let them fall back down, you should have that naturally faded effect. The more fade you want, the higher you should lift the tails. Hope this makes sense... Edit: typos
@@skillsinpills2311 I've been cutting my own hair for years now, so I'm coming from a place of trial and error and lessons learned. You definitely don't have to be a professional to be able to pull it off
I was going to say exactly that, just pull the hair away from your head and cut. This creates a natural layering effect the same as if you shaved it and it grew.
I do the exact same thing with my tails! I find it's a bit easier and quicker to brush the hair flat onto my face across my temple on that same 90* angle from the roots, rest my scissors on my face and blunt cut straight up. Hope that's a good visual. It might be a bit dangerous but it takes like 5 seconds to do it perfect so it's worth it, especially since I'm terrible at layering
I still come back to these videos after 7+ years for hairstyle inspiration. Kero you were integral to my sense of style growing up and still are to this day. Wherever you are now I hope you are thriving and still rocking bold hairstyles 🖤
man, I remember watching her how-to on giving yourself a deathhawk when I finally worked up the courage to do it, and I still have mine!! I hope she comes back to RU-vid sometime soon :(
Awesome video, I love this chatty style… and quite interesting that you don’t know what you are doing at the beginning, meaning just start and it will progress the idea and at the end it is all good … no it’s not just good it’s awesome 👏 😎 🤩
I hope she is okay. Her video's were always a big thing to look out for as it was always something wacky, colourfull and beautifull to break the dull day.
I hope she is ok- i still love her videos after all of these years, but its weird to see someone just disappear. i even went to her patreon only to see the others confused as well. you'd think if she were to change her life on her own accord she would say *something* to the people who are paying her... but to just disappear is just worrying. i wish someone could give us an update
@@Miss-MonsterSorry, where did you see updates on instagram? His old page is stuck at 2 years ago, I haven't seen any of the new posts you mention. Do you have another instagram page?
@@gianl5206 Okay I had to delete my two messages. I went to the wrong Instagram page. I went to the artists she commissioned art from.. She has credit to them in her about.. and I thought that was Kero's insta. I did not read it correctly. I've been doing some digging to try and find anything though. So far nothing.. I hope she's okay.
I was thinking about the same thing. She just disappeared from the internet about two years ago and that's it. Never posted anything on any of her pages since 2021. How weird. I don't know any of her friend's Instagram or social media so it's hard to go look for any info, pictures, etc. But she did write "No longer active here" on her Instagram bio so I'm guessing it was her decision. I hope she's okay too.
I missed the iconic broken mirror, also I don't mind this style of video or the older one, either way I enjoy watching the process and changes of the hair. Thanks for the vids.
Bro... make chicken nuggets home made, batter in Italian bread crumbs, and pan fry them a little to long so they get super dark brown not quite black.... my mom used to make them all the time, we called them the famous burnt nuggets and theyre sooooo good!!!
i come back to your channel every now and then just for the nostalgia. i remember watching your deathawk videos back when i was like 11? 12? and i'm now 17 lol. ur still super cool, and i do still wish i was just like u. edit: i was 13! i have comments on that deathhawk vid lol
I really liked this format!! Watching you be hesitant and talk through your decisions made the whole process more real and now I want to go chop off all my hair myself lol
girllll where are you? we understand if you don't wanna post anymore but either way, we miss you! i hope wherever you are you are happy and living the best life you can sending love from TX!
I loved the talking and music combo. I really loved to see your thought process and how you make your decisions. And it turned out so well. Love your content. Can't wait to see what you decide next. Thanks for sharing.
I have a cowlick in my bang area and what I learned when cutting bangs is to cut them while your hair is clean and dry. Also don’t pull your bangs down tight, just let them sit naturally when you cut them.
I'm seeing quite a bit of recent negativity here. Are some of you really that entitled? If she wants to take a break, she can take a break. She does not owe anything to you
I didn’t even notice this was 42 minutes long... I didn’t look at it the whole video and just kept watching- wth? never done that before so I gotta say I really enjoyed this :’D
awwww why did she quit? I miss her energy , vibes and creative trait and she is so unique and talented. If she lives allright thats all that matters, but damnn, i feel like we all became your friends while you posted. wishin all the best
@@ch527kerosene yea same, im just too exhausted to do my v-shaped bangs every morning so they be looking like shit haha... gonna give them a basic shape again:3
Ever since I came across your channel I've been doing my hair at home and just having fun with it. I now go with the flow and embrace my mistakes and successes with my style. You're the best! Keep doing what you're doing!
Effecor from L'Oréal will take out direct Dye and permanent hair color it's not one of those 3 stepers. It's more of bleach based color remover. I use it on my daughter and there's never been a color it did not remove It's a powder you mix with 20-30 volume developer.... Also salt water or going swimming in pool with chlorine we found that out on accident last year on a beach vacation.
I love how healthy your hair is U have beautiful hair when its long I also love how you like to experiment and take risks with your hair you have had shaved sides , dyed hair , a mohawk, you have shaved the back of your head there is nothing you can't do or haven't tried
See some comments worried if shes okay. Shes alive don't worry. I knew her irl, but we drifted apart years ago. So idk what shes up to now, but don't worry shes alive. Theres no obit out there and none of her family have posted that she passed on her facebook.
I've watched your videos for so long now and you're actually the reason I've become more confident and started experimenting with my hair, thank you so much!!!
I like the new switch because I get more of your mental and go along on the journey with you. Seeing your real nerves connects us to you. thanks for the awesome content.
Your hair after you dyed it reminds me of one of those weird spiky toy balls xD pretty though! I really want to dye my hair again now. Also, it like this and just music ones. I think they're fun either way but it was cool to have you talking since it felt a little like a conversation.
Definitely like this style of video! It was nice hearing you talk about everything throughout, almost helps get to know you better and getter a better understanding of the process 😊
In 8 days it will be 2 years since the last time you posted Kero😔. I periodically check to see if anyone has heard from you. Even if your never want to post again, can you please PLEASE let us know you're ok.
I was looking for ur channel a few days ago but couldn't find it.. today u popped up on my homepage. From the days of my childhood when I would watch u and wish I could dye my hair like u did and to today where I am now 19 and also dying my hair.. I thank u for your service all these years ❤
I find it strange that among the 1.2 million subscribers on her page there is not a relative or friend very close to her who can update us on her health conditions or why she has now disappeared from social networks.
tip for trimming eartails: try holding them horizontally and cutting vertically, so that when you put them down you'll have the layered effect as if it was your natural growth💞
Listening to your accent is so interesting bc it sounds like you’re from the PNW in America but you live in... Netherlands?? So very stereotypical American with like this Dutch creeping in, if I’m hearing correctly. It’s funny to listen to as someone from New England
I really liked this video! I definitely felt more included/invested in the whole process, which was really enjoyable! I don't know which kind of video I prefer honestly, I guess I'm fond of both haha But this is a really nice format and it is a great idea! Thank you so much for the content! ^^
I lovved this vlog style, it honestly feels way more inclusive as a viewer being able to ride along with the different decisions you made. And so much more fun seeing the end product!!
I think Kero retired from creating content :( Both on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Patreon she has not had activity in a long time. Even in her insta bio, she says "I'm no longer active here". I hope I'm wrong and someday she will come back. she was one of my favorite RU-vidrs. Her videos were very entertaining and interesting :)
@@downwardbrainspiral ikr??! she was always so open about whatever struggles she was dealing with or what was happening in her life that might affect her uploads. but then suddenly nothing. slightly concerned knowing her history of self-h@rm but i'm going to choose to believe she chose peace over fame and is living her life quietly.
I love your videos. I relaxed my hair after 4 years of going natural to make it more manageable and it pretty much all fell out. It's very thin now and short and I'm trying to recover it without doing a big chop but your videos make me want to just try something new and if it doesn't work, it's just hair. At least I'll have fun with it. I think you're one of the coolest RU-vidrs out there that cover hair. I practically screamed when you said super Saiyan. So cool that you know DBZ. I always look forward to your videos. I feel either style is cool :)
