Not Brad supporting Better Help 😢 that company has caused nothing but turmoil & triggered so many people! It’s a scam & they need to be shut down!!

I commend this generation. When we cut our bangs at home (without video guides of any kind mind you) we had to live with the shame until it grew out. These guys not only film the process but are totally comfortable posting their mistakes for the world. ☺️

For the last 3 years my fringe (bangs!) have looked perfect every time they're cut. Why? Because I finally accepted that I was no good at doing them and go to my hairdresser to get them trimmed! Note: this also makes my hairdresser a lot less stressed, because sorting out the chunky uneven messes I would walk in with was a bit cruel.

Pretty sure those giant scissors were fabric scissors. I have a couple larger pairs (though not that ginormous for sure!) and I'm genuinely impressed that she managed to hold them in that angle long enough to cut the whole bang, because holy moly are those things heavy!! I literally rest them against the surface I'm cutting on while cutting! 😵

I've been cutting my own bangs for almost 30 years and the only times it goes bad is if I have a special event the next day. But in those 30 years I've learned to not pull them down, not cut them wet and never cut them under any influence.

Bangs grow out so fast. I cut my own and I’m sure Brad would hate the way I do it. I’m growing out my pixie cut right now. I’m loving my virgin hair. Even though my bangs are a little short right now after my last home trim.

Just have to say at the start: Love the hair. It always looks so good. Also, from someone else who loves matcha, be careful with it. It does contain caffeine, so if you have anxiety (or are on medication for it) the caffeine in matcha (or strong coffee or tea) can interfere with medication. I found this out the hard way several years ago. Hugs to you!!

! PSA for cutting curly bangs ! •Have the hair in its natural curl pattern before cutting •Always cut the hair DRY so any shrinkage that may happen won’t effect the final results I hope this helps someone✨

Brad, not all of us can pull off a center part with curtain bangs. Some of us have to wear an off center part - which ends up in a side swept bang.

After watching so many videos about how NOT to cut your own bangs with both yours and hairBuddha's tips on how to do the thing correctly, I now have tons of knowledge to theoretically try this out myself, someday. But I'm also 100% an anxious bum and would never actually dare to try this myself. If I'll ever want bangs, I'll go to a professional, periodt. 💀

I always give myself short Bettie bangs so I never have any of these problems these girls were having 😂 been doing it for years it doesn’t scare me anymore. Those giant scissors look like textile scissors, but HUGE. I am shocked how the result of that is not even that bad.

I cut my own bangs on a New Year’s Eve. I wanted to do it for SO long but every hairdresser I went to was like “girl no you don’t have the forehead for it” so I was like fuck it I’m gonna do it anyway. I grabbed my razor, pulled the front chunks and started cutting it like curtain bangs. AT FIRST, it was a teeny tiny horrible so I just hid it but after a month I was finally able to style them correctly and now they’re amazing. Not the best, but I love it anyway

So I got a friend who asked for curtain bangs at a HAIR SALON. And got the result of the 1st girl. Can’t even trust hair dressers sometimes. At first I asked if she did it but no she said a hair dresser did her dirty!

The triangle part and cutting straight across works for me. I do go back and curve the sides up and point cut. When I let them down it looks good on me.
