This Penny blew me away. She's a character! Very expressive, vulnerable, and POWERFUL all at the same time!

I am sorry, but Penny is serving serious vocals in this. This is amazing.

When I played Penny in the school play, I made my voice do that when we first rehearsed the song, and the guy who played Seaweed, looked at me so scared.

This has always been my favorite version of this song. When I played Penny a few months ago, I chanced singing this just like Diana Degarmo, and the audience died every time. I just hope that Ariana Grande can play the role well for the live broadcast.

I'm in this show right now in Riverside, and I have to say that the harmonies in this song are absolutely ridiculous. They sound amazing, but damn, Marc Shaiman did not want to make it easy on the performers. And it's super high too. Even the lower voices like the baritones are up in the rafters on this one. I still love it though!
