If you look closely at 2:22, you’ll see that Aaron appears to actually be whispering something (look at his throat). Good acting choice, actually. Also wonder what it is he could be saying.
Aaron had the hardest part in this scene. He's so good. I adore him. I know he was in Grease Live but they should have had him for Hairspray Live aswell. Does anyone know if the full version of the show is available anywhere?
Can someone help me understand how Penny gets from being on one side of the stage to the other when they're stood on the chairs? Because I just see her at the end being carried back to her original postion. This would be very helpful as I am playing Penny in this song for my schools Summer Concert.
Crofton Middle School just completed their 2 weekend run of Hairspray. Their 90 + ensemble and leads were so great in this performance and actually out-did these folks in their song. The enormous sound was fantastic.
Her name is Shannon Durig! She's my favorite Tracy!! Her voice isn't grating like some other Tracys and she also has excellent control of her tone even while moving and dancing!
Wow, the girl who was singing the whole time needed to do more character study. She did not do this song justice. It's as if she only read the words to the song but didn't see the movie. Very disappointed in her performance.
