I wish that you had a salon here ( I live in a sort-of big city in Alabama ) because there really aren't African+American hairstylists unless you count Salon 22 and Anniston Quick Weave ywe have 2 African hair braiding salons , though and that's it . And they have a waiting list for months and it takes forever to get an appointment with them. And you did a great 😃👍 job.

I almost get PTSD when I hear staph😬 The first time I got it was from the nail salon getting a pedicure like 20 years ago. Afterwards the cdc made these salons change their cleaning protocols because there was a break out of staph at nail salons. The first blister started on my leg where the height of the water was and spread upwards. It itched so bad and the blisters had created a hole in the middle of the blister and left what looked like cigar burns on my skin. The second time I contacted MRSA a week before I gave birth. It was in my blood stream and I didn't know because I didn't have any blisters nor rashes. I only knew because of that last pregnancy blood work they do. But I can't even pinpoint where I may have gotten it, since staph is every where. I try not to get paranoid about going places and doing things like swimming but I can't help but get scared if I get an itch. Her hair was beautiful. It's too hot where I live for those hair styles. As soon as I step outside, boom humidity and 100 degree weather🤣

I wish you were near me. My daughter has thick hair ( shes 8) and I don't know how to braid but I need someone gentle to remove her tangles. When I try we are both crying so she wears a lot of little girl friendly ponytails. I can't details her roots and her hair just keeps growing. All the stylist I research mention they don't do tender heads and I'm left speechless.

I've gone to the same hair stylist for the past 20+ years. Eleven years ago, I had hair straighten done, and my hair fell out. I had to get a pixie cut. My hair did grow back but it took time. I didn't even want to get it done but my mother insisted that nothing was going to happen.
