I love your channel. I am a 70 y/o, handicapped woman who cares for my 95 y/o mom. We live in the SW California desert. Hot and dry. There is no one I trust to do my hair. No black shops I'm aware of anyway. Sickness and environment has fully damaged my hair. When will you be in LA? I need you!😊 I am an hour SE of Palm Springs, 50 miles from Mexican border and probably 4 hr. minimum to LA. I need time to arrange a logistical nightmare to travel with my power wheelchair and arrange care for mom. I know this may be impossible, but hope is ever present in me. I have always been so confused when people would say that you should trim/cut your hair to help it grow.. it finally made sense to me in the way you explained it. You’re not helping it grow, you’re helping keep the NEW growth healthy. 🤯

I so agree its very important to trim the broken hairs, I have lupus and my hair breaks easy, falls out and I'm in my 60s, but trimming the broken hairs 1 time a month and the hairs growing back makes a world of difference in strengthening the hair now lupus is not even noticeable on my hair, my hair is baby fine all I do because it doesn't hold curl is roll it and put a band to hold it in a bun summertime, you do such a fantastic job and take good care of clients hair, much respect

When I dyed my hair, it was the color of your client's hair. Her hair has a great shine to it. I have that grip comb, and I think it is the best thing to use if you are doing your own hair. I love her how her hair turned out.

Hi Kee! I've been trimming my hair (ALL THE HAIR), using your method since you dropped that video during the pandemic. My hair has grown...just like you said it would. I dust everytime I wash my hair because my hair is layered and I find ends that I missed the last time. My nape has grown out....just like you said it would....all of the short, broken ends....are gone...just like you said they would. Trimming, dusting, and cutting has completely transformed my hair. I've started point cutting my layers. Thank you for creating the famous trimming video!

I just ordered my second grip comb last night. It works! I never tried to curl my hair with it though. I like to wear my hair pin straight usually but I'll have to try this next time. Edit: Just bought your detox shampoo. Omg, thank you for making a shampoo available with SULFATES! You clearly know what's up. I am hard pressed to find this from small black owned companies. I don't know how people are getting their hair and scalp clean enough for silk presses with all of these alternate cleansers. They just don't clean the same, especially in very hard water which is what i have. I'm old school so I remember shampoos that truly cleansed the hair. Idc what anybody says, please don't remove them. Everyone fell for the scare. Smh.

my hair has been dyed since i was around 14 (im now 35) but for years i had it violet/blue. my best friend of many years asked me to be a bridesmaid for her wedding but asked that i change my hair so as not to "ruin" her wedding photos with my "immature" choice of haircolour. I was devastated , but I did it anyway as that was my bestie. now working on getting it light/even again and go mostly silver =]

The results were beautiful! Golden blonde was my staple color for years, and light red was my last color, which I loved! Both were rinses. For almost two years I have not used any color, so my hair is about half dark brown and half two shades of grey. Sometimes I feel it is beautiful, but other times I feel it makes me look my age, OLD!😮 Do you have a video addressing how you manage your hair when you swim? I'm a wig wearer cause man my hair will zing bob as soon as I step outside. Otherwise I will venture out and wear a slick back ponytail. I work from home so it's easy to slap it on and keep it pushing. Thanks for the education and the vibes.
At this point in my life, I do a big chop in May and wear a pixie cut, and I start growing it out in September for warmth purposes my signature color is definitely reds right now it's a dark Scarlett red

Lol my old stylist used to tell me to stop but i did it so much she just eventually started just turning my head herself 😂 but after a 25 year relationship it did not bother me.. its hard to keep your head straight.. I like to watch other stylist do hair while mine is gettn done.. its so hard to keep still lol

The humidity always puffs my hair up when I straighten it in the summer. I usually wear a wash and go and sport my curls. i also wear wigs and ponytails for the convenience.
By any chance, will you do a style with natural curls one day soon? This is very beautiful, but I must admit my inner child revolts at styles that can blow into my eyes or mouth.
I used to move a lot in the chair but I found out that if I close my eyes I stay still even if I'm talking. Don't know if that would help others but it's worth a try.

As of this year I no longer wear braids in the summer. I'm trying to grow my natural hair and refuse to wear wigs or weaves either. I put my hair in twists, heavily oil my scalp and strands and use alot of diy products. I'd never knock anyone using other methods, bur it's time I get to know my real hair instead.
