Current college drop out with kids….. after being in health care for 8 years and going to school for my RN. I just have always been in makeup and hair and get encouraged by any and everyone to get licensed. This pandemic has been a real eye opener as to what I want.

I once had a mother who brought in her teenage daughter like once a year for a cut. She wanted a V cut so I gave her the cut. Then mother called and said her daughter didn't like it and she wasn't going to go to school because of her hair and her life was ruined. When it comes to conversation with clients I usually ask them how they are doing and usually it takes off from there .

In cosmetology school you have to wear black everyday! And yes i do clipper fades in the salon occasionally

Why did your teachers not want to do the foil trick? My teacher loves that trick. And please do a tips and how to study for state boards written exam. I am almost done with cosmetology school and I am trying to start study for the written exam and want to take it before I graduate.

I want to do this after I graduate high school in a couple weeks. May I ask how much or how you get paid? I worry I won’t be able to afford living on my own .. do you get benefits?

Hair school for me was 20,000 and we only got tips from clients thats it
