Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL) - B-cell Neoplasm (a cancer of B-lymphocytes) - Tartrate Resistant Acid Phosphate Positive - TRAP + stain. BRAF mutatin. Dry tap on bone marrow aspiration (bone marrow biopsy) which causes pancytopenia (anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia). Splenomegaly is common (enlarged spleen), no lymphadenopathy. Hairy cell leukemia is treated by Cladribine Chemotherapy - Hematology and Oncology Playlist.
