The Haku/Meng/King Tonga stories continue in this sequel to The Legend of Haku • The Legend of Haku told by Hulk Hogan, Rikishi, Bobby Heenan & Frenchy Martin
I heard that Haku is really 15,000 years old. He won't die because Death is afraid of him. Every time the Grim Reaper comes near him, Haku just glares at him and the Grim Reaper runs away leaving a trail of piss behind him.
I remember a house show I went to back in 1988? Haku was doing the "King Haku" at the time. After the match, as he was going back to the dressing room, a fan threw a bag of popcorn at him. Haku just stared at him for a second then continued to the back. That fan probably doesn't realize how lucky he was that Haku didn't go after him.
These statements by genuine badasses say all you need to know about Meng: Rick Steiner: "Scotty and I always thought we were tough guys but that was before we met Meng" Ex Ranger Perry Saturn "He could kill everyone of us in the blink of an eye and there would be nothing we could do about it" Big Van Vader "You don't mess with Meng" Arn Anderson "There are three kinds of tough men - tough men, wrestler tough men and then there's Meng" Goldberg "I don't know any man alive who could take out Meng in his prime. This was a totally different human being"
Even Don Frye commented in a recent interview on how scary but nice Meng was. When ex UFC fighters start saying someone's legit, you know it has to be true!
@@-Thunder-Warrior- Haku aka Meng learned MMA before wrestling a lot of these guys are legit asskicking machines even Shamrock was a wrestler before ufc trained in ufc then came back so it's not unheard of thats's why CMpunk and Lashley and a few others went to the Octagon they'll beat you down and tangle you up those moves aren't fake even though it's scripted they just put them on with less strength pretty much
He's a type of guy that will back you up even if he just knew you from a friend from a friend and if you were going to get jumped in a bar he will back you up no matter if it was 2 versus 100
the type of guy to help anybody that was getting jumped,the1to stopped u from getting jumping to make it a one-on-one fight and make sure no1 jump in,the guy that would stop a fight to let the other person get up,the guy to stop it if u quite or get KO,the guy That Will BE THERE Until U WAKE UP OR Even Carry you on his back all the way to hospital no matter if he had no car! would not leave no Man behind! That is y all the bad SOB back in wwf n wwc all loved respect him more then he WAS THE KING OF ALL BAD SOB HE WAS,that it WAS Just THE cherry on top of the MAN He WAS TO EVERYONE JUST LIKE IF HE WAS UR BEST FRIEND FAMILY THAT Everyone WAS equal to him no matter if u was the boss or didn't like him, that the most important part was that he Didn't think he was better than anyone and didn't think he can fuck any1up and was never a bully shit talker n never went looking for a fight never brag about a fight after to pick u up after a fight u starting with him lose or win with not a hate4you
Correct. Perry Saturn was a Ranger and when he says that Meng could kill all of them in the blink of an eye then that's huge. When the Steiners said that they stopped thinking they were tough once they met Meng, that kinda says it all.
There's a shoot where Stevie Ray talks about the Tonga Death grip and saving a guy from it who was peeing, pooing and having blood come out of his ears. He says "when you see that Tonga Death Grip.. it's real".
Paraphrasing.. "He had two guys lifted up by the neck, a kick here, a kick their. Get the bouncer out or he's dead. So the owner got the bouncer out. six guys laid out on the floor in under 30 seconds. Go to Hell before you go to Haku."
I've watched clips on RU-vid of 3 wrestling industry veterans (Rikishi, Kevin Sullivan, Jim Cornette) being asked who would win in a fight between Haku and Brock. All 3 picked Haku without hesitation. In fact Kevin Sullivan said Haku would destroy Brock within 33 seconds.
i would pay to see a movie of this legend , not a shitty production i mean really good production would be cool, i know vince has movie studio maybie time to think bigger.
Universally regarded as the toughest man in pro wrestling history, Haku is a legend. A prime Haku could kill anyone from MMA in a street fight in seconds.
+chaoticdays In a fight yes, in ufc with rules no. I would beat anyone in mma in a fight. If I have to follow the rules the mma fighter wins. But in a real fight there is no ref no rules
+FlechFisher I think Bruno sammartino in his prime would have given meng a run for his money. if he could take sonny listons hardest punches to the jaw and it didn't even phase him then i'm very impressed.
In the Brock/Haku fight, might have to give Brock a Baseball Bat just to try and even the odds. It still wouldn't be enough though from the sounds of it
World bantamweight karate champion Sonny Onoo said that the only chance MMA fighters stood against Haku was if they carried sharp weapons or firearms. Otherwise he says that he can't even imagine what Haku would do to them.
Saw him knock out a huge 300lb plus man at the Sudbury Arena in Ontario , Canada right in front of me with a half shot. Amazing sound and I talked to the guy a week later and he said he just woke up in first aid room! True Story
Why would anybody want to pick a fight with Haku? The guy looks like a freakin grizzly bear. I've seen some of the pics of him as an old man now with his hair all gray, and he still looks menacing. When the king of Tonga selects him out of all the other island boys to represent them in wrestling, you know he's for real. Tongans and samoans are some big strong dudes.
Check out this clip of Rick Steiner talking about how Haku knocked out five Marines in a matter of seconds. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ilG_VqrbJck.html
The two men that even Andre the Giant admitted to "being afraid of"... Haku, and Harley Race. Two guys who, compared to some of the other guys at the time, didn't look all that terrifying. But man... one punch from those guys would implode the average man.
Harley race actually died and came back to life was told he would never be able to walk again ever and not only did he walk but became one the greatest wrestlers ever and meng is viewed as tougher then him. Meng is tougher than a man who beat death and paralysis
If I was a wrestler back then the first person I would've tried to make friends with would've been haku cause A he's on your good side so you get to live a longer life and B if you get in trouble and need someone he's got your back
He was someone you never took a bad mood out on.. Bad mood or not, smile and keep on his right side.... and if you did that.. he seems like he'll go to the end of the earth for you.. on the wrong side.. he'll go to the ends of the earth to whoop your backside.
Haku was not afraid to take a fight to dark territory. He would go for your eyes, your balls. He would bite you and tear your ass up really bad. He may not win a fair fight but he is one of those guys to avoid.
Haku is a legend for me. Never needed much of a gimmick and made things look so smooth and easy. Also, he people say he was such a nice guy, just showed the magic of his work since he was so tough for real, and could of abused that.
Can’t recall which shoot i heard this on but one wrestler was asked if he was cornered in a dark alley against an angry mob which 5 wrestlers would he pick to have his back and he just said “Haku, don’t need anyone else...”
WrestleMania 88 the Coronation of King Haku accompanyed by his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan , sitting on his throne lifted by his royal subjects towards the ring .
Listen kids, it's like this and I tell ya true: you take the absolute best most seasoned and decorated/DANGEROUS UFC heavyweight of modern day "MMA" and I can assure you, I say again I ASSURE YOU that he would not last a minute and a half with prime Haku!!! Not even close not even for a second and this isn't speculation or any of that modern day debate horse shit this is FACT! Haku > Anyone ever
imv sorry. But Brock wont laast against Meng.Yes Brock got Technical skill no doubt....BUTTT whenever you look at Brock Lesnar you can see fear in his eyes when he has got someone truly tough against him and doesnt give in to Brocks Bully Aura.Remember Meng will go to a total other level mindset and wont even be recognisable as a human when he was Angry.Mengs anger Aura energy alone will defeat Brock and make him shit himself .No sir you cant reach that.Thats Human energy fields. These are the toughest wrestlers talking in Meng and you can hear fear in their voice and souls. They knew they were doomed.fear alone will kill Brock
If Haku really is your brother that's cool! The things said about Meng are hauntingly similar to my own father in all seriousness. The nicest man in the world until you get on his shit list. I wish I had a good friend like your brother, there are far too many backstabbers, gossip ghouls, snakes and hypocrites these days. Cirilo from Chicago,IL says hi!
Haku has an enormous size and strength advantage over Lee. Lee can't make up for that difference with technique or speed. Not to mention Haku's legendary pain tolerance and savagery.
Bruce Lee was a powerhouse for a man of his size and had an incredible physique and masterful technique, but he'd be like a child next to Meng. Bruce was 5'7 and maybe 150 lbs, though I've heard he was closer to 135.
