Shirayama Hime Shrine is a shrine located in Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is the main shrine of about 3,000 Hakusan Shrines nationwide, and is revered as the Ichinomiya of Kaga Province. Locally, it is known as "Shirayama-san".
Shirayama Hime Shrine is one of the three famous mountains in Japan, along with Mt. Fuji and Tateyama, and is the base of the Hakusan worship with Hakusan as its deity. The three pillars of the shrine are Shirayama Hime Ōkami = Kukurihime Mikoto, Izanagi Mikoto, and Izanami Mikoto.
Shirayama Hime Shrine has a solemn atmosphere in Omotesando and the precincts, where cedar trees and asunaro are more than 1,000 years old. It is said to be the best power spot in Hokuriku, and it is said that you will feel as if you are cleansed by the clean air.
