This is my favorite song in the world. I have met Hal several times. He is always fun, friendly and it just adds to the appeal. I always request this song...and sometimes he actually plays it in concert. Hal, if you are reading this, I love both you and Andrea and next time you are in Dallas, please add this to your play list. I never miss a concert...used to see you every time you were in Vegas as well.
+Sharon Middleton This is indeed a great song. I happen to like the 1999 version by "Bluegrass Etc." from the album "Home is Where the Heart Is" somewhat better, but they are similar.
I first saw and met Hal Michael Ketchum at the 7 Lakes Vineyard in Michigan when he was starting out. Liked the sound and style enough to buy this cassette. I too agree this early or first edition is the best.
The audio on this was not that great kind of thought he was singing down to the bottom of a barrel the words are great but the audio something about it
