Eh, I think it's worse. One of the most unique things about her was her vocal range (she could effortlessly hit really high notes and sound good doing it). She's lost much of that, imo.
I think it’s gotten better live especially over the last year as she can definitely hit the high notes and can scream impressively without damaging her vocal chords :)
The reason that I like the song is not just because of the song's meaning and how the singer interprets it. This version is disappointing!!! The studio version for me is the best and nothing else!!! If the song sounds metal, it should have remained as metal!!! That's the main reason that I'm not a fan of the US-based metal and generic rock bands.
