wow. this is yet to be discovered by the greater counter culture music movement. I mean this is some incredibly ground breaking soundscape on the level of worthy notoriety as microphones or animal collective. Another comment mentions it sounds like crumb: totally agree. Also get some pat methany vibes with how background sounds lead into the peaks of songs. I have listened to this so many times over quarantine, and it just blows my mind every time. 10/10
I just stumbled upon this album while falling asleep in the car. It took me the second the last track to realize I wasn't listening to Crumb anymore. Still a good album though.
her songs resonate with me so much, they're so sorrowful yet still somehow have a "somewhat" undertone of happiness, perhaps being irony, idk but it works
she reminds me of both Hop Along and the Oh Hellos, two bands so different I never thought that something would remind me of both of them. A beautifully unique sound
@@reneecoppock4404 I hope you do as well! Haley's vocals have a very raw quality to them, similar to Hop Along, so I feel a lot of fans would enjoy both bands!
While singing, Haley often appears to come close to breaking down in tears. Her voice breaks, high and touching, just like any of us do, when we're about to cry. It's so beautiful. I haven't felt as intrigued or as satisfied or as moved by anyone recently. She compares well to the immortal Joni Mitchell, to any of the heroes of original confessional music that we all love so much.

HOW does this only have 92K views? This is one of my favorite albums. One of my favorite guitarists. One of my favorite peoples. Haley LABORED over this LP. Over-labored. You can hear it. I SO appreciate her high expectations, but, c'mon, girl. Please release another one. Please?
I talked to her after her show at First Ave, and she says it's coming in fall. She'll be touring in support of it, which is awesome, because I really want to see her as the headliner and not the opener.

My all time favourite is drinking song, so glad i stumbled on it. I feel like it represents me as a person and my thoughts! Truly amazing, thank you haley! I really needed a song i could relate too, and this whole album is such a go-to.
