that was epic! Those shoes remind me of some kind of equalizer on that Zeppelin Shoe-Switch-A-roo! Listening to this once is not at all enough - it's a pretty intense listen though. This is more like Bee-Bop. hahaha. Brazilian Bee-Bop.
Did you notice Casey threw in a bar of the theme from Girl from Ipanema in his solo at 3:10? Then Haley responded with third harmonic melody as response - so you couldn't tell it so blatantly - very tastefully done, so it wasn't just schmaltzy.
This is so much better than the studio version! With all the relaxed improvising, the song makes just much more sense to me :) well done, all three of them!
I agree, that scat Haley does in this song is one of her all timers that I've heard. I think LKG is like My Cake in that it's a simple song and a jam song, open to improvisation by her and each of her band mates
she's replaced Jewel for my fav female voice ever, and she's also the sexiest girl I can think of. How does that happen? best female voice and the hottest girl I can think of? I think God is speaking to me.....
I know, that scatt is insane, it's a wonderful performance of the song.... I wish Haley performed more songs, but I only have one left from this show. Idyllwild has been 2/2 for me as an amazing venue to see a show
Guau! me he vuelto a enamorar! Raúl please don't fall in love again ... pretty good music, beautiful girl, nice bass and delicious guitar sound it made me dream!
Haley seems to go more places with the song here than on her official video, particularly in the scatting. Casey's double bass adds a lot of depth to the sound it as well. I'm not a Bossa Nova fan but Haley's almost won me over with this take.
You know if all humans were ever able to do when they sang was to express anger where would any of us be. Even so dress in a psychedelic dress and mumble something about goodbye aint really you at your prime. Love the dress though it looks great really warms the whole stage. thats love yeah yeah yeah yeah Graham
