The day I found the "Half Kilo nugget", I left camp in the morning and realised it was my late fathers birthday (his name was Ray). I looked up to the sky and said, 'Happy birthday dad" Then I said, Mum and dad, can you show me where the Gold is? An hour later I found the nugget which I named 'The Ray of Sunshine" after dad.

I agree, I spent 5 months last year travelling WA, and oh my god I couldn't believe how big the state is and I live next door in SA. I didn't even get to go through the middle goldfield s and we did 17,000kms. I can't even imagine how much ground there is to be covered. Can't wait for part 2. Cheers Dan
