it takes forever to calibrate and for every board you must do it again and again, he didint showed pointless waste of try and error he made before i bet with chizle it takes 100 times faster than with jig.
@@Arturas1244 it did take a while to calibrate but once right it worked like a dream, it works out quicker and more accurate if you have lots of joints to cut such as drawer boxes 🤙🏻
dude dont, it doesnt work like this, it will take you million years with jig as it will be too short than too long than too short than too tight, than too loose, after million years great i did calibrated and you grab differnet wood, or differnet wood from other pile and lets do this again :D it takes longer than with chizle and its not even stronger than other methods, go watch video how to use half blind jig normal video not commercial wil be fun couple hours for one board isnt it fun? :D
@@SmiteDoctor this was one I managed to find 2nd hand online, just search dovetail jigs online and there’s quite a few that you have the choice of. The closest to this is the ‘harbour freight’ model I believe. As for @Arturas1244 comment yes it does take a while to set up but 100% worth it if you have lots of joints to batch out.
