Setting there is: Video: HD with 150Mbps bitrate Auto Bitrate is Off 90Hz ON Frame buffering ON Codec HEVC (H.265) Frame Interpolation ON Image Sharpening 75% Audio: Audio Latency 0ms Steam VR Render scale is 130% 2460px*2460px by default for any game Movement smooth is ON VR world on load is OFF
Hi! I do not tryed to use a virtual desktop for playing. I have used a standart PICO Streaming Assistant (FREE) when recorded this video. Also Now I use a ALVR (FREE) it can emulate a Quest 2, 3 controllers and now I dont have a problems with controlling in any game. Fallout 4 VR for example. Maybe a Virtual Desktop is better, but i can not buy it. And prefer to try some demo first but looks like that is not possible. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions.
@@StudioHorizonsArt It is i didnt had any big problems with many modern games. But some old didnt work well. Like Fallout 4 VR where controllers work well only on loading sreen. Just like a hell controlling in Pavlov VR, Killing floor and many other games who released before 2020. Skyrim VR dont have any problem. Just perfect. Soon PICO Streaming Assistant will get a big update. Will see how they surprise us. But now ALVR is best deal for me, there a lot of useful settings.
As I understand you, I was very worried about this before buying. It's much cooler than 2D 4k. I will give you a more complete answer. Video resolution in Pico 2160x2160 per eye and frequency 90 Hz. There is a less blue mode. You can adjust the brightness and interpupillary distance. If you have good eyesight, then you will see a pixel grid. I was ready for this when I bought it. This can be frustrating sometimes when you want a clearer picture. In any case, I'm glad I bought it. I have a Ryzen 5800X and 6700XT, 64GB RAM most VR games work fine except for Fallout 4 there is absolutely no control. For Skyrim, I edited the config file to improve the video resolution from 1024 to 2160. Also in the Steam VR settings, I defaulted the video output setting for all games to 130%, which gives a clearer picture.
Nope this is a stream from PC to Pico 4 by native Streaming Assistant, gameplay recorded by Pico included software, because of it quality of video is not so good. They fixed this in 5.7.1 update
