WAHOO ITS FINALLY HERE. i still cant get over how amazingly and caringly this mod is made, you and everyone who worked on it did a really great job! However one thing i noticed is that i think with the new update to VJ Base, when 64 bit is enabled all VJ Base npc's completely break. So just thought it tell you that, and amazing work on this mod!
Thank you! Unfortunately 64 bit and Chromium branches are highly outdated versions of GMod, only the GMod developers themselves can fix it, I may make a check in VJ Base to disable parts of the base if 64bit is installed, hopefully that will at least stop the console errors, but it would be dumbing down the AI.
awesome shit as always man, keep it up! and if you got the time. maybe you should add a list of default playermodels for the player npcs for us to modify, like the only playermodels they should be using. just so to save more time from having to spawn and undo npcs until you get that npc to have the right playermodel or maybe there already is, i might be ignorant or blind enough to not see it there.
I love this mod, there is every enemy from hl1 but i still would like to see some more: Female assassin whit crosbow (they were supuse to be the weapons they used in promocional material) And maybe a shock trooper whit a spore launcher (not based on anything exept i think it would add a nice variant)
It is a good idea but there are no such models for your suggestions, we would need somebody to make custom models which nobody would do for free unfortunately
@@VrejGaming its ok, the work beeing made is alredy incredible, so dont worry. (if you could consider doing the crosbow assasin in a distant future it wuld be so cool but dont worry about it)

Edit: I checked out the new update and I was checking the files once again I noticed that you added another character that has not been added to addon yet the dancing robot from HL1 alpha and the alien aircraft from base HL1 are you also planning to add them too along with the charger as well?
I see a lack of Standing keller boss. However i can understand why! undertaking such an important thing will need much polish and time, Years infact. Once more, Atleast he gets some love with the new phys! he is delighted

Are the some of the snpcs in the hl2 resurgence expansion mod ever going to be fixed? (Strider, Antlion guard etc) because I think it'd be really cool to have vj ports of these npcs
I assume they are free to use for a free mod such as this, as they are after all made from Valve's assets. We have given the creator credit and will remove them if he requests it
They should have just added all the Half-Life, Source, & resurgence npcs for gmod to begin with. As well as add updates for new bpc entries such as alyx.
While i'm here, i wanted to mention something strange. So, i downloaded Half-Life Resurgence a little bit ago and it's very fun! I just like messing around with the NPCs and stuff! :) However, there seems to be a small bug or visual bug or something like that: sometimes, the firing animation of some NPCs, such as the HECU Robot Grunts and the HECU Marines of both Opposing Force and the original game, will indeed continue to play, as it is supposed to while an NPC is firing. However, the muzzle flash will be gone but the animation will continue and i'm not too sure about this next part but this seems to cause the NPCs to not damage the one they are firing act. I don't even think i see the bullets being fired from the firearm but i think the used-up bullet casings will be ejected from the firearm as well? Although, it's the same problem as what i just mentioned. I usually play on a few AI-noded maps. Maybe a couple are nav-meshed, too, but i don't remember. What do you think might be causing this? Will we ever be able to say voice lines (from idle chatter to aggro talk) and manually call for help as the human grunts when using the NPC controller?
I have been having troubles with the npcs. When ever i spawn one in it does nothing. enemies don't attack scientists, scientists don't show fear, and for some reason every npc will not follow me as they spawn already disliking me. how do i fix this.
It'd be cool to see the ragdolls tweaked so that they don't spaz out so much after the death animation. I don't know how possible that would be though considering the animations were never made with ragdolls in mind, but various things like Left 4 Dead has for instance where the arms don't collide with the body so the death animations blend smoother with the ragdoll would be cool.
@@VrejGaming Cool, glad to hear it. Also a little suggestion, increase the weight of the dropped HL1 weapons when you have "Humans Drop Weapons on Death" enabled, they only have a weight of 1 by default and it makes them fall too slowly.
Im having problems with hl resurgence. Whenever i spawn a citizen npc the mod turns the citizen into a hl2 rebel. Also, I disabled every mod to find the problem and it was hl resurgence causing it. Please help
Hello Vrej Gaming Your mod is very amazing that i am a half life fan but wait i got some long details and characters and weapons to add. Can you add the beretta and the m4 from hd expansion and the dual uzis from sven coop. and tfc weapons like the assault cannon and the flamethrower and the nailgun and super nailgun and the single barrel shotgun. and npcs can use these weapons and the playermodel hands and can you add Sven Coop and Hard Life (who is a game in development) entities like the bodyguards or the security guard variations like the black skin one the jacketless or sometimes old or fat or skinny or cloth variations like the scientists and for the security guards weapon variations like Brutal Half Life. and don't forget some weapon shining and details like Half Life Extended (who is a game too in development). And don't forget the weapons need a Sven Coop style like the shotgun who needs to shoot automatic in right click and the spore launcher needs too right click to shoot it far and the hornet launcher who needs 100 ammo. and last weapon is the shock rifle who needs 100 ammo too and the most powerful attack it's the electricity beam Im not torturing you hope you see this message
