No longer branded as, "COUNTRY & WESTERN" music, with banjos, fiddles, acoustic guitars, steel slide guitars, and deep soulful lyrics, along with great toe-tappin' vocals anymore. But this....passing off as country "entertainment"??!! Oh no! We can *flush* this down the toilet. 🚽 This type of behavior is UNACCEPTABLE! 👎 Back then, the singers wore cowboy and cowgirl get-ups, on stage. The women were "ladies" and did not prance around half-naked on stage! It was good *CLEAN* fun and pure entertainment, back then. 🎻🎸🎤 The great days of the GRAND OLE OPRY are gone..😫 And now folks....., this.....is the state of Country music. 😥 Thumbs down for this performance. Yes, the "country" culture, certainly *HAS* ..changed after the 20th Century. I think the COUNTRY & WESTERN legends/icons and pioneers, would be turning over in their graves. Things in life change, progress & evolve. I suppose you are still driving a model A Ford & having to start it with a crank handle & using Morse code. Mind you, you obviously have & know how to operate a computer. Despite what you think & said about Shania's 'country' music & songs, she has done very well for herself don't you think. So she did something right. What she does is not really Country & Western though is it. It is a cross over of country rock & pop. If you don't like it then don't bother watching & listening to it. That's pretty simple isn't it. There are many millions that like/love what she does. There is still your kind of country music out there. Enjoy it, like others enjoy Shanias.

This show, LOL is so reminiscent of a Waylon Jennings Merle Haggard Tammy Wynette George Jones or Loretta Lynn show. LOL isn't the best way to describe how country music has been destroyed. Actually its quite sad.
