nebulabob xtremely bad ref..as a former ref and refjudge i dont easily crticise refs as its a hard job but this portuguese ref was so bad and also partial( you could notice he was against the netherlands) this guy should be demoted and never ref an international soccergame again.....silly that there is no var as that silly portuguese ref would have taken the penalty back( not with the hands as thats a judgement call but it was offside before...i think of 10 good international refs no one would have given the penalty.....as you only give penalty if there is clear intent or that defender has arms wide from his body...even the new hands rule this wouldnt have been a penalty)
Maarten Vos i am not sure the but I think the new hand rule is that any contact is a foul so. Technically the ref is right. However we still won and that is what matter 👍🏼🇳🇱👊🏼
@@martijntoebast2918 I don't really care what the rule is. If the ref is correct, it just means the rule sucks. The guy couldn't see the ball, his hand was in a reasonable position, the ball barely touched his hand, and he gained zero advantage by the ball touching his hand---and we want to give a penalty kick for that? We shouldn't be gifting penalties like that, it's stupid. I'm tired of seeing so many decisive penalties in games (not that this was one). I realize some can't be avoided, but we could do with considerably less.
I wish Netherlands’ will win like 1988 love Holland i will never forget utrecht best city in the worldwide mis kaas and yogchrt the best bbl from somalia
He's speaking like that because it's not a live commentary, he's just commentating these highlights. He already knows the score, and we do too (it's even in the damn title). He would have to fake his emotions, and there is really no need for that.
Some people were busy arguing whether it should be Neuer or Ter Stegen who should be in goal. The truth is, the problem is never about any of them as both goalkeepers are world-class as we can see at least three great saves from Neuer in this match. The real problem lies on the people in front of him. All CBs (Ginter, Sule, and especially Tah) played poorly and made blunders that led to all Netherlands' four goals. It might not be long before Loew recall Hummels again.
I agree, Neuer was as good as he could be. But when a GK is exposed like that, goals will be conceded. That said, I don't think it'd be such a bad thing to give Ter Stegen a start. I mean, it wouldn't hurt, right?
Well the discussion in Germany is because Ter Stegen plays amazing season after amazing season, but is never considered as the first GK, and Neuer is getting a bit „old“ an does a lot more mistakes (at Bayern) than he did when he was 28-29. And I don‘t think Hummels will come back, because Löw is way to stubborn with his decisions. As an example, he kicked out Kevin Kuranyi, and he played 2 amazing season after he got kicked out, but Löw was to dumb to accept that. Löw needs to leave and make place for Klopp, who is going to make the best DFB Team ever
The penalty was ridiculous. Absolutely no intention of player touching ball by hand. Now we have to play guys with amputated hands so the ball doesnt touch their hands no matter what.
I think one of the reasons de ligt turned to the ref before the ball fell on his hand is because Schulz made hands first when the ball went up in the air
@@xzaz2 It doesnt. A handball is only a 100% handball when a attacker gets the ball on his hand. When it happens to a defender it is still being interpreted whether the defender could have done anything to prevend the ball from hitting his hans
Plus The German player was offside when he got passed to and the ball hit his hand first. After the ball hit his hand it went up and afterwards hit de ligt's hand. This was never a penalty. I dont understand why in these games there isnt a VAR. What if that goal happened to let the Netherlands lose? The Netherlands would probably nog qualify for the EC, all because of 1 faulty given penalty.
@@tombeerens421 I believe there is no VAR because some games are played in nations where the technical capacity for VAR is not present, so if it can't be used for all games it's not used for any.
TheWitness1001 Neur is a top class player or at least he was 😂 but without defenders the goalkeeper is pretty useless just look at David de gea some consider him one of the best goalkeepers but with man united he let’s in so many goals do u wonder why because of the defense that’s why ✌🏽
@Arjen Kroos Cause German Goverment give Löw 1 chance as German Coach, if Germany lost and knocked out again again Löw Gonna be out of German Coach and moved to Madrid as Real Madrid Coach
Very very talented young team with world class players almost everywhere (most impressive is their airforce with Van Dijk en De Ligt).. Gonna be a real threat coming years in international Football I think..
I think, without van Dijk and with de Boer as trainer in stead of Koeman, the Netherlands still makes a big chance on the euro 2021. We have depay, de Jong, blind, wijnaldum, cillisen and stekelenburg. I think it is a great team that can make it to semi finals at least.
@ Nothing to do with that, man. I mean, just to give one example, they have produced great players (throughout the decades) who have had big impact in many ways. We can also include for instance England and Spain.
If it ain't Dutch it ain't much!! Every Dutch football pundit was raving how Oranje was done for after 2 missed tourneys. And now? All is looking bright orange. Solid experienced players with an influx of highly talented youngsters. Something beautiful is on the horizon.
Both German goals where based on offside situations... I hope our neighbours will soon be in there normal very strong form again.. Löw?... well.. had his time, didn’t he?.... NEXT! Respect from Utrecht👍🏻
I see why Bayern Munich need a lot of French players to save them. These generation of German players are really dull and sluggish apart from Gnabry, but he also didn't do enough - Sané would have do the trick with Gnabry. They need some military training. I mean just look at how quick, agile, and well coordinated the Netherlands players were.
I agree with Hummels & Boaterng, Gundogan was in at 61st minute. Mustafi is really bad while Khedira is already past at his prime, Hector? in a yo-yo club with Koln (Meh)
Honestly they're all bad now.. you can add Ozil, Mueller, Goetze, Schuerrle or whoever won the World Cup but isn't in the team anymore. Nonetheless if you remember them in their prime, then yes...it's sad that they're gone.
The whole strategy of Germany was on defending and counter football. Very poor strategy that is usually done bu small countries. I am very happy the Dutch won because I am Dutch😅😅
I still remember Ryan Babel used to play for FC Liverpool. Looks like he lives his second childhood 🤭. It's surprising that he is still in good shape. As for Joachim Low, his sweater looks good on him.
En nu onder de Boer is het een flutploeg. En bedankt hè. Was leuk zolang het was. Overigens nogsteeds één van de meest belachelijke stippen die ik ooit heb gezien.
Great highlights! Love the Dutch 11! Administrator: can you please stop putting the final score in the title of the video? It's a total spoiler alert for me!
Yeah true . maybe its better when he partners Sule with Hummels. At least he would have the option, but nope he straight up announced that they would never be called up again .
No one is expecting Germany to win Euro 2020. It's time to reorganize the squad for WC 2022. I'm kinda hoping that Germany will perform badly, so that Low will be replaced before 2022.
I think you are deluded obviously a barca dog see the stats of reals defense and barcas defense for the last decade you will see barcas defense is similar to Argentina pessis country and then talk rubbish ok
Thanks for uploading this. 🙏 💕 God bless you sir. I'm praying for healing, peace, joy, safety, and prosperity, for all of you. 💕 God bless you always. Stay optimistic in these pandemic days of covid19. 💓 🙏 🙏
I hope to live long enough to witness the Dutch team becoming world champions, I saw my first world championship in 1974 and the Dutch deserve to win the world championship in my view. 2010 was close, but then Iniesta ended our party
The 3 defenders were certainly slow and terrible at marking. However, the midfield was equally poor. What happened to Toni Kroos? Reus and Werner were invisible. Loew's game plan was horrible and poorly executed. I've followed German soccer for 50 years, and this was as bad as it's been. Only Gnabry and Neuer looked like they played hard. This team is in trouble and will bow out to the European Cup in the first stage. This is sad.
gnabry being one of the best in germany says it all, its just like that, now its the time of france, netherlands and brasil (maybe argentina and italy too, theres a lot of great young talents there) to rule footbal in the following years
And another great match by the Dutch. Why did they never win a world cup? So many brilliant players Every 5 years or so there is a new grou0 of talented players that grow into a unit of class. A shame they didn't win at least 3 WC's and only one EC.
Low thought a change in formation w 3 CB would solve his defensive problems but it really make no difference when the CBs are so poor. Plus gd wing backs are non-existent in Germany for years now. What this formation means is that there is no place for more creative AM like Brandt & Kross/Kimmich hardly move much beyond the halfway line, And Werner is hopeless. So basically there are 6-7 useless players coached by a clueless Low, wouldn't be surprised if they can't get the better of Ireland & miss the final
Defensively, Germany could try taking ball from other team as soon as they come over midfield line, like they used to do when they pressed the ball high up to other team goal area. When other team goes over into German half, then forwards and midfielders could move to take back possession of ball.
