The Germany goal was actually quite a decent display of football even though the final assist came from a Dutch player. That was strong determination. Goals like this have been really rare in recent years.
Well i agree. Muller movement and position before scoring a goal is a good example on ' the raumdeuter ' skill that he posessed. At first glance, his movement may be looks decent and looks like it's no threat for the opponent's defender, but the seconds later out of nowhere, he appears and then score a goal or give an assist.
Good game by Germany. Musiala is showing that he deserves to be in the starting 11, Schlotterbeck is the center back Germany have so badly needed and it's great to see Raum take his Hoffenheim form to the German National Team (although he really should have passed to Werner who was completely wide open. It would have been hard even for him to miss from there). The one thing I think is lacking with Germany is that striker with the finishing touch. Both Werner and Nmecha should have scored with the chances they got. But hey, Nmecha is young and still has a few more months to improve before the World Cup, while Adeyemi, who was put injured, has had a blitering year for Salzburg so the future looks very bright for Germany.
@@niteshmk1786 Yh and he’s a proper forward, can shield the ball, score great headers while finishing well and link up with others in a fluid system like Chelsea’s or Germany’s
germany's fan since 2006 , finally germany is showing some life in international football after the disaster from 2018. hanz flick might win another world cup
There is no clear outstanding team in 2022. There was spain 2010 Germany 2014 France 2018. Months before tournament begin you can tell they have chance. But not with this Germany For me favorite for 2022 1.France ( benzema mbappe) 2.Germany ( just because it's hansi flick) 3. Brazil Spain England Argentina might have chance as well. This Germany doesn't looks really like in 2014.
@Shalosh Kokhaota little above average players at best. Lol if Germany won world Cup 2022 it's just because hansi flick pure genius just like mancini at Euro 2020. Philip lahm, prime neur ,mesut ozil bastian, young Toni kross, boateng 2014 the beast, experienced klose. The depth substitute like Mario gotze andre schurle. Lol this Germany nowhere at 2014. This players is too young and inexperienced
both teams Germany and the Netherlands are strong teams and played well both no problem that the result was 1-1 that it was a friendly match Good luck Germany in world cup I'm as Germany fan from Albania 🇩🇪🇦🇱
As an England fan I definitely won't be looking forward to this Germany team, in Low's later years they looked a shadow of what they once were but now they look much better under Hansi Flick, and when we play them in the Nations League it should be a good game
Can't believe that we didn't win this Germany... We really need to start putting those clear-cut goal scoring chances away.. I just hope we will be more clinical at the WC..
It's true that they are slowly finding a new 'first squad' and the makeover is slowly turning into the positive direction. We'll be very happy if they manage to reach the quarters in Qatar.
@@brexistentialism7628 I think the Netherlands have a fierce offense with depay and bergjwin. also solid players in the back but as you said I agree their tracking and man marking was not sharp.
German living in the Netherlands… don’t know who to root for, but both teams played amazing (and it’s nice to see the Germans strong and refreshed again after 2018)!
@@maricgesink1292 I am Canadian now but born and raised in the Netherlands and my grandfather was German. I will be rooting for Canada and likely have to switch if Canada fails. but we will see what happens next in Quatar.
I'm as Germany fan from Malaysia hope this year the panzer will win the world cup for 5 times,Germany good all position, but the striker must sharp so that the opponent will weak their spirit to rise up,good luck Germany 🇲🇾🇩🇪

Germany have a good team. Our dutchies r strong as well even though we dont have a steady 11. Glad to see my country back in the wc. Goodluck to germany as well. I think w kimmich and Goretzka/gnabry the German side will have a good tournament
van Gaal is a good coach. Not sure who would be better placed at the moment. I also love that NL use Dutch coaches. The players also have some responsibility, yes?
Germany literally flooded the netherland's defensive third in multiple occasion, no wonder we had that many chances, we could've grab a really comfortable win if we had more clinical finishing.
Exciting team. Hansi has turned the volume up a notch, as he did with Bayern ❤️. Just a little better decision making in the final third, a little luck like todays bad clearance, and the passion of the German players will take this team far Sometimes too much holding of the ball. We are fast and quick touch football will destroy the competition compared to that No Kimmich, Goretzka, Gnabry either
@@Jonathan-xp4wy Germany had Havertz, Muller, Werner (though his finishing is abysmal but he is good), Musiala, Ilkay, Sane, Rudiger. Stop giving excuses. Finishing touch was lacking in this game.
This fast counter attacking football from Germany reminds us of the German world Cup team of 2010 which did not win world Cup but won lot of fans world over with scorelines of 4-0 against australia, 4-1 against Britain, 4-0 against Argentina.
The best germany performance actually was. Its hard spanyol beat us cause muller can’t play that time. But this new era.we will come with surprise performance
@@romeomuyapa5107 not only mueller did not play, but also spain at that point of time from 2008 to 2014 spain had such a mastery of possession football the "tiki-taka" vareity Football at that point of time world seemed to have no clue to beat this " Tiki-taka" Football of spain but it was the opening match of 2014 world Cup the Netherlands were able to find a way to defeat this "tiki-taka " Football of spain when they thrashed spain 5-1 and it was a revenge of sorts for Netherlands who were narrowly defeated by spain in previous world Cup final with the score of 1-0.
@@anonymous-hr4wr when tiki-taka style came into focus in Europe when spain won 2008 euro-cup and it became world renowned when spain won world Cup in 2010 , tiki-taka put in pepe guardiola 's word was "take the ball, pass the ball" And the spain won the world cup in 2010,in that worldcup in most of the matches spain scored only one goal and kept on endlessly passing the ball.
Die Mannschaft controlled this game 60 to 40 possession , played without Kimmich, Goretzka, Reus, Gnabry...so you can imagine that Germany can be a much stronger team when these players join. I'm so impressed with Musiala. He's dribbling through even when Dutch players are holding, pulling his jersey. Werner shouldn't start.
Netherlands started to implement a new system just two matches ago though + Van Gaal did rotate to see some other players (malen instead of bergwijn, different position blind, malacia instead of ake, and no de vrij). That did impact their organisation, so also should be better after the nations league matches next months. Def impressed with Musiala, but de jong also again showed he can be world class. Curious to see how both team will perform at the World Cup, both have a lot of potential, especially if some youngsters keep developing and get more playing time at their clubs. (NL, has with Malacia, Gakpo, Timber, Malen some good youngester, And bergwijn and depay also need more playing time at their clubs.)
Both teams didn’t play the best 11, De vrij, Bergwijn, Danjuma, Wijnaldum, Depay played even though he’s a bench warmer at Barca, even with germanys best 11 I think this could’ve gone anywhere
@@primuscesar I agree. I don't think musiala will play too much, and I have no problem with kimmich and goretzka. goretzka is a massive key for germany. For me, musiala can play in a more attacking position; strangely out of position in central midfield in bayern at the moment, but that's due to injuries mostly i think.
This german team has been going through the motions lately and i am glad that it seems they have finally found their semi-ideal form. looks like they can really work together as a team and are past the point of relying on one central player to do the job. I just wish they started focusing on bringing a new goali to the line-up . Although Nuer is still strong and formidable but he is ageing and you just would not want to count on him long term. I have seen matches where other goalies were in the game and the results came out to be the same or even better.
Kai havertz positioning in the box is phenomenal ,look at that header that hits the bar and bounces just on the line and off the line ...this will be the top striker in the world cup
individually, the dutch are better. germany is strong, but too stilted and usually needs extra effort to close down side attacks. germany needs better sidebacks. its midfield still evolving. the dutch is revving up and it's one of the favorites at the wc. their front attack is fearsome and creative.
Individually Germany had by far the best player on field yesterday Musiala. You add Havertz, Gnabry, Gündogan and some youngsters and there is skill enough to win the WC. The problem is the centre backs. The Dutch have a few players with lets say "not so soft touch" 😂. Here in Finland we call them "puujalka" which translates to "wooden foot".
The Dutch are so dangerous when it comes to quick transitions and counter attacking plays. Germany are the overall better team though, once Kimmich, Goretzka & Gnabry returns though.
Werner was wide open in front of the goal and the left back said, "Nah, bro. I've seen you at Chelsea." LOL. Werner works his arse off but that guy is so unlucky a meteorite would probably deflect an open net shot from 6 yards out.
With the way muller is playing and the fact that Germany can win the World Cup and Bayern can win the champions league, I think Muller has a very good chance of winning the ballon dor
Musiala was fantastic as 6. Bullied whole Dutch midfield. When he was subbed off, FDY came into play for Dutch. Gonna be exciting WC with so many good players on display.
Not mentioning a cancelled penalty by the referee after checking the monitor isn’t really showing the highlights, especially when it was a clearcut penalty!
Missed one of the main highlights which was the overturned penalty for Holland. Was 50/50 and should have gone with call on the field. Holland deserved to win in 2nd half despite the lack of highlights shown here
Have watched some replays of different YT-channels... I am sorry to say it to all the Germans, but these ''highlights'' only showed 1/4 of the attacks from the Dutch side and all the attacks from the German side. If you make highlights of a game please make sure to put every highlight (so also from the Netherlands) in it, because this doesn't show how the real match went... really biased.
I have a question I was in the stadium and I catched a ball from Thomas muller where can I find a video from an angle that films the German team after the game
