it could get interesting at 4:50.... could you ? probably yes but not sure the underside of the vehicle will not go undamaged! if the right rock were stacked there and you had a good spotter you might get over that section unscathed! I have seen plenty of similar vehicles at the North trailheaf just not sure if they get any bumps and bruises getting there!
The obstacle at 4:50 was challenging for me even in a Ford Ranger. Although admittedly much easier with a good spotter. I probably wouldn't try it in a Subie. However there are a few good pulloff parking spots right before that obstacle, and the trailhead is not far past that.
@@Valaran1 Thanks for the response. I was originally going to do a backpacking trip in the in the Maroon Bells as well as a couple day hikes, one being a hike up to halfmoon lakes. Because of all the permits, etc. for Maroon Bells, I decided on backpacking in the Winds in Wyoming.
