I was a commercial salmon fisherman off the Oregon coast and I could shoot sea lions. Of course the law said I had to pull my gear and run in hopes of losing them. My fishing vessel didn't go fast enough to lose anything so I was forced to pull out the rifle. Have you ever tried to shoot something on the Oregon ocean. Every once in awhile it gets flat but you can pretty much count on a three to five foot swell with a foot or two wind wave. I fished a 28 ft uniflite with an 11 foot beam and that was still pretty rough just standing up to work. You couldn't hit a whale on a typical day fishing off the Oregon coast. I did enjoy throwing the seal bombs at them very much though.
BELEAVE IT!! We once stoll a Chum Slamon from a Sea Lion... it was PISSED and chased our boat for about 1 km. Tough battle with a sea lion on the line. What do the tast like... Yes, they can somethimes be bit of a nucense for sure. But, where I once fish, the commercial fisheries targeted the herring...and MILLIONS of tons where caught...fewer herring, means change in diet and food choices for the sea lion..Next time, try fliping the skate over on its back when releasing, you will be amazzed
Hi sir ; you have a very good mind gift pay back the respected to your parent, money gift from kids is not important- the important is to make him ( parent ) happy that all parent need pay back the respect from the kids before he say good bye, I am very happy to see this v d o that what I like, thank for show 2 T up .
