You are right, some things should be always only the creator secrets. I like old recordings for this equilibrium. I'm going to London for a couple of weeks, i will upload other interestings recordings (Oborin, Zak,Davidovich) as soon as i will be back
The recording of the a mi mazurka in the other post that was put up today is the first time I've ever heard the "metronome steady left with rubato in the right." I like her interpretations, I find them very modest. I'd be very interested to hear her play scriabin.
more or less you're right (unfortunately...) but Biret was one of the very few who has recorded mazurkas played like mazurkas, and not waltzes. This pianist has recorded the complete set too: someone should post them!
