Most guys who wanna be tough usually would say, "if you don't stop that shit im gonna kick your ass," or something, but you know Xavier is the real deal when he specifically describes exactly in which manor he's gonna whoop your ass. "If you don't stop gonna choke you," lol - fuckin hilarious. God he was such a phenomenal player, easily one of the most underrated guys in league history. Especially seeing as how most top-tier defensive stoppers, aren't also as dominant offensively as the X-man was. He prolly woulda averaged well over 25 a game throughout the 80's if he wasn't such an unselfish player. He had a decent outside shot, a deadly mid-range game, great in the post, and then to top it off - he was amazing at driving to the hole off the dribble. Most defensive stoppers aren't also as versatile defensively as he was either, due to his height, strength, athleticism he was great at defending PF's, while simultaneously having the speed and agility to guard SG's and SF's. Just an absolute freak who doesn't get the respect or notoriety nowadays as he rightful deserves.
XMan was the tripple OG he had game in the high post elbow and in the paint .he should have been a Allstar more then once in his Seattle days he was getting 20ppg .
Nowadays I don't think any of these punk ass kids would stand for something like that. They would just pout and demand a trade. These guys were a different breed and I love every bit of it
Xman choked out Wes Matthews during a game vs the Lakers in the 80's. Forgot what started that fight, but Michael Cooper saved Wes Matthews life, when he pulled XMan off Wes.
