I can’t even get halfway through without a break just from the emotion that this brings up. I’m weeping uncontrollably at the Memorial section and the 9-11 memories flooding back. I didn’t personally know anyone who was lost or even anyone who was in harm’s way, but still the overwhelming grief from that day and the time that followed will forever remain just as tangible as it was then. There’s no other time in my lifetime that has ever felt the same and I hope there never will be. I honestly don’t know how you got through videoing without tears. I could hear the emotion in your voice and see the feeling in your eyes. Thank you for sharing this. It’s really interesting but also really important to remember and recognize. I will have to watch the rest after an intermission… whoa. This might be only like the second time I’ve ever had to take a break from a RU-vid, and the other was your video on the Military museum because my Dad was in Vietnam when I was a newborn baby. You have a respectful way of making these important historical experiences so relevant and meaningful. It’s truly inspiring.

I think it is truly important to share places which highlight the portions of history which are hard to fathom. It is hard but it is such an important thing especially in the time of history where so many places are blocking the stories of the truth which has happened. Our voices will be the ones responsible for sharing the reality and lessons as we teach future generations about the world we have lived in and experienced.

What an amazing museum that depicts fire fighting history. That’s simply fascinating and a touching memorial to 911 and the Phoenix firefighting teams that lost their lives saving others. Their stories and legacies will live on through this historical museum. That was a really cool place Bunny! Worth visiting so thanks for highlighting it.

This is amazing 🚒Bunny you are sharing things around the Phoenix area I never knew about !! Unreal !! AND I have a good friend ( now retired fireman 👨‍🚒) who never mentioned this ! Maybe he was over it by the time he retired ? Here is yet another WOW moment . Very cool and thanks for the tour ! You’re awesome ⭐️ Truly enjoyed this and the 9-11 part brought back all the memories for sure . I was still flying them and had been in NYC the day before this all happened . Flew back to Phoenix finishing up a 5 day domestic trip and woke to the news the next day . I actually went to Ground zero just 30 days after & witnessed the destruction & it will always stay w/ me . I’ve never witnessed anything so catastrophic. It Was surreal . A fireman 👨‍🚒 friend ended up going and helping there from Phoenix and was there 3 weeks . He has had health issues ever since . That’s a day in history forever in all of us … so again thanks for your thoughtful , caring and well done tour here 🚒

My Granrfather was a fireman! He was hired because he was a farm boy and had the knowledge to care for the horses that pulled the city's fire wagons. They changed t trucks and the men used to hang onto the outsides of the trucks to get to the fires. My Grandfather's career as a fire fighter ended when the truck swerved and my Grandfather fell off and was seriously injured. He died when I was three.

It is always hard to visit places which pay tribute to their stories. Those people who responded were such brave individuals. They went In without question!!

I agree... it is sad to see how many people in the world were effected by this single event. Every state in some way felt the ripple.

I think the 9/11 memorial is just fantastic. I think the bravest ones are the ones that don't really think about whether they might not see their loved ones again, they just go and do what they're called to do.

My condolences to this person that you knew. That particular day was a tragedy for so many in the ripple continue to how far beyond just the city itself I feel as though this is one of the most impactful events that happened in the United States and it’s super sad to me that so many people do not take it seriously and have lost connection with what really happened on that day.
