the little mermaid 2023 behind the scenes look that halle bailey posted of her in the studio recording part of your world and vanessa's trick! halle's vocals are amazing and i think her ariel is absolutely incredible :)
@@AizensPlanagreed. Halle is very talented for sure but I can’t understand why they did away with that part… well actually I don’t understand most of the decisions they made regarding this live action.
Her singing Vanessas Trick in one take, the “fabulous Halle… You’re done.”.. her “really? Okay cool.” Like she didnt do something 99.9% of the population cannot do lol. I love this video.
That’s exactly why she got the part because of her siren song. I love that they threw that into the movie when she rescued Eric given that Eric grew up being told how evil merfolk and the sea gods were and same with Ariel and humans.
@@lizl4574 That's what disappoints me of these live Disney movies. When it requires a very good singer but they only worried of gettinga big name on it.Its no use you do all these magical cinematographic things and the thing that made the particular cartoon memorable was the music. That's why Beauty and the Beast was a total flop for me.
@@lizl4574 I agree. I love Emma but casting her as Belle was a bad choice and that’s why I was happy that they went by talent with Ariel instead of trying to appeal to a specific demographic and cast some mediocre white girl that sports an ugly red wig. To me Halle’s locs are just the right amount of red and it really does lighten up as she breaks the surface of the water
@@lizl4574 I was thinking after watching B&TB that Emma can sing but they could've atleast have a vocal coach for her but they instead put a lot of autotune lol😂
She’s so amazing as a vocalist , people do not realize how hard it is to do what she does : she seamlessly blends styles and controls every single note and it’s truly amazing
@@R.444- i think why they didnt add it because there was no wedding. But ig they could have just changed the lyrics but i think people would complain even much more
I think that, when it comes to the music track, this is the only thing that made me sad, i love that scene in the animation, and Halle voice singing that would give me chills
I cried all over again when I saw her post this 😂. Can’t wait for all the bonus footage to come out! Even Javier has a song that they didn’t include in the movie! I’m so invested in this movie
I think the movie's just PERFECT, especially Halle as Ariel, I'll never forget her voices, not only her voices, but also her beauty, she looks sooo fine that make me want to rewatch the movie again
@@charissewallace8648 Definitely, yess! This is my really-honest review. At first I was doubtful, but Ariel's (Halle) voice managed to make me cry to tears, her beautiful voice echoed in the cinema made me shivered. Not only that, the figure of Ariel who is full of curiosity, cute, and innocent is played very well by Halle. The "soul" and feelings of the characters in the film are also really very well portrayed (especially Ariel, Prince Eric, and the animals who are Ariel's friends), in my opinion the storyline is much better than the animated version, the remake is really dramatized well. I really loves the chemistry between Ariel and Prince Eric-anyway, Prince Eric is so DAMN CHARMING, he IS so fine and perfect in his role. (And yeah, another interesting part is that there are several 'parts' that aren't in the animated version) One more point, trust me when you just saw the animal posters in The Little Mermaid (eg Flounder, Sebastian, and Scuttle) you will definitely be disappointed or likely think that they looks horrible because their 'realistic' look, but you won't even notice that when you watch the movie because they're actually so cute and super fun in the movie! But there's just only one thing I complain about, the fight scenes are less tense. Well, overall, this movie was so goood, I give 9 out of 10 stars for this remake of The Little Mermaid. Watching the film really left a certain "impression" on my heart that make me wanted to rewatch it. I can say that Disney never disappoints me, especially at this time. Conclusion: VERY. RECOMMENDED. you MUST watch it.
halle plus the orchestra live really is so beautiful. Can’t deny Halle’s amazing voice but something about the live orchestra seeing them vibe and read each other is amazing. the chemistry everyone had on this project seem to mesh so well.
This movie made me cry, several times. It was so good, it’s such a shame the hard work of so many, not in the least Halle, is overshadowed by controversy. May it continue to soar, and surprise.
She is such a beautiful woman inside and out and for some reason, her voice makes me emotional! She had a LOVELY singing voice and she literally speaks like a princess! 👸🏾❤️🥺🧜🏾♀️
made me almost out of breath for a second. i concentrate on her movement and forget to breathe. she probably did the same but her breathing is in control unlike mine
