The Central Islip High School Concert Choir (John Anthony, Director) performs the HALLELUJAH CHORUS from "Messiah," by George F. Handel at a concert held at the Christ Lutheran Church in Islip Terrace, NY. We performed the work even though we did not have an accompanist that day.

Nice... Back in high school we also sang this piece a capella in our parish church. Without a conductor! I guess we were singing it well because we were often invited to sing in churches of other towns when they had feast celebration. I was "forced" to be in bass because there were only a few members in that group. Then I graduated and grew up tenor hahaha.

As someone who attends a church where they sing a capella and everyone sings, this was something I needed to hear and I often come back to reference it!

@nate presutti will a lot of practice and hours of patience doing it memorized with no background music. I’ve done this song two years in a row to current doing my high school choir.

Absolutely awesome!!!! The only thing I would have liked is to hear a little more of the basses. You do what you can. It is often times finding enough bass singers for a choir. Personally I liked it better without the accompaniment. Again, fantastic job!!!!!
