This guy gets it, has the parts where Dave shines on right, parts where Adrian shines on left. Though his lacing may be more janick, feels a bit hurried as Janick often does. Fabulous job, most ppl on youtube seem to screw up Dave and Adrian's parts
I have been teaching myself how to play guitar and I been making little progress do you know any tips to maybe teach better? Music is something ive enjoyed doing since 6th grade I am in 10th now and I always wanted to play guitar
Austin Wilson learn chords (major and minor) then barre chords, then go online, because you'll have the dexterity by then to start making serious leaps and bounds to use to play other songs and just keep progressing. And if it's too difficult, patience practising and patience waiting to develop skills is what helps
Austin Wilson as a tenth grader also, who more or less knows this song, my biggest suggestion is to take it slow. For the parts that you struggle with play it slowly and gradually speed up. It may be boring and depressing at first, but as long as you are persistent, and dont give uo you should quickly notice improvements. I know when i dive into songs trying to play full speed, I struggle and find little to no improvememt, but when I take the time to individually learn and "master" each part, whether it takes 10 minutes or 10 days, I am always glad that I was persistent, when i finally get it down.
You can hear the vocals as it spills into the drum mics. This is an isolated drum track, but as it was taken from a live gig you get a slight bit of the other instruments bleeding through.

Anotehr really great cover! If I may..... try to play it a tad slower, especially the pre-verse h/o p/o sections, you will get more out of it if you slow down and play on the end of the beats.
