A ground-level crypt with moving lid was combined with ghostly footprints to create a spooky scene for this year's Halloween display. Previous how-to videos show the making of the props.
You do such a fantastic job of the presentation of your scenes but you top it with your thought process of how to accomplish things that you’re trying to do. I’ll throw my unwanted two cents into it and say at the end of the footsteps a gate opened and a board was there that all of a sudden written on it was I’m not dead and then you have foot prints returning to the crypt to open up and receive this phantom figure. I’m sorry I just have a pretty good imagination. Happy Halloween folks and I just love what you do. 🎃
Thank you. The sound of the crypt's lid opening was the actual sound it made--noise from the roller bearings combined with the sound of the lid rubbing the base in some spots. I lucked out...no sound effects needed.
