I 100% relate to this!! I've always heard so many people dread this time of year due to shorter days and such bringing on seasonal depression... But it's the exact opposite over here - my soul dies a little in the summer/I get horrible anxiety but then all of a sudden I'm like a whole new human in the fall and winter! Happy October! It's our tiiiime!!!

Finally someone else who understands how I feel about summer and the uncomfortable anxiety that comes with it. I can’t do summer, but Fall is my everything time of year when I am the happiest! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I get into it decorating in September 😆

"People just snatching things up" ------- this a thousand times over. I was so disappointed by the time I went to stores (minus a couple stores, thanks to your videos) at how empty they were with Christmas sneaking up behind the empty shelves.

I have been searching so much for cool stuff but a lot of places seem really lackluster. It's my first halloween in the USA, I'm from Scotland so I had no idea just how early some of the halloween decorations go out for sale. I missed the ghost mug from Target. :( I also went to three Home Goods and they were wiped. I wanted some halloween cushions from there! My partner and I are going for round 3 of halloween shopping this weekend, hopefully we'll get lucky. Your channel has been such an inspiration for me, I really miss my family back home and was feeling shit about it but getting all excited for halloween has helped. Your videos have genuinely helped me know where to look for stuff in the states haha! Thanks!

I am a bit agoraphobic, so I only leave the house when I absolutely have to... and the only time I really spend $ on myself is Halloween decor shopping (or art supplies- sometimes same thing) I said all that to say this- your videos are not only awesome, relatable and entertaining af, but they literally help me know where I want/need to go, and WHEN to go to get the thing I want, and show that not all stores are created equal! One Walgreens might have half an aisle of Spooky fun, while another Walgreens has a big section of Halloween goodness. Thank you thank you THANK YOU! for all the hard work you put into filming AND EDITING these HH vids- I know editing isn’t easy, and you do a great job with all the footage overlaying the thing you describe. You’re a GEM!

I work at Walmart and every morning before I clock in, I walk by the Halloween section. I'm always buying something on my lunch or after work. I enjoy watching these kind of videos. It made my shopping a lot more fun!

I just got over covid myself and am finally going out for Halloween tomorrow. My dad is taking me, the covid meds took a toll on my seizures, I am not allowed to drive yet. I love fall weather too. I totally feel you on having, the best way I know how to describe it too, anxiety during the summer. When it finally feels like fall it just feels like a weight is lifted and it makes me so happy. Also, I agree with you on the Starbucks cups this year. Pretty lackluster. That's why I wasn't too disappointed in not finding them.

I wait all year for October to arrive. Having to get through Summer is the worst, I absolutely hate it, the only thing that gets me through it, is knowing Autumn is coming. When October finally starts, its like a breath of fresh air...how a season can bring so much happiness , I'm not sure I understand it, but I know I feel it. I'm so glad your mom is feeling better Jade. So many cool pieces in this video but alas, all of my local stores have been basically cleared out, which is probably best for my bank account & best so i actually have time to decorate. I actually did get that gargoyle snow globe last year and it reminds me of this house that is by my local museum & zoo that has actual gargoyle statues on the pillars of the gate. For years, i have been dreaming of doing the same thing but until then, I'll just look at my little gargoyle snow globe. Excited to see more of your decorating videos & spooky snack videos!

i literally love watching your videos because where i live halloween decor hunting has SUCKED so much all the ross, marshalls, burlington stores in my area or around my area are EMPTY ill be lucky to see like a full shelf. The michaels near my town is empty and they arent restocking. Same with target, walmart, and HEB.

I live in florida where fall is nonexistent. 😭😭 Lived here almost all my life. I've vacationed up north several times between September and December just to enjoy something different during the holidays. My better half and I are looking for our first home to buy next year and it won't be in florida. 🤗 we are both so happy and excited. Also on the note of halloween shopping alot of places cleared out so fast this year. Not to mention the complete delay on product shipments cause of all the 2020 madness.

I love the anticipation of Halloween and autumn, so like I swear I kind of like September more (it starts to get cooler in Michigan during that time too) b/c then I have a whole 2 months to be in the spooky mood. I hate when every start counting down to Halloween b/c I don't want the actual holiday to get here b/c then it's immediately Christmas. Everyone skips Thanksgiving now and it feels like autumn just ends even though November is definitely still fall-time! So, I totally understand your feeling about missing June (just not the weather!). :D

Today hubby picked me up a couple super cool retro style face masks from walmart. Plan to frame them for year round wall decor. Think they are my fav items from this year. Ive heard there are other designs but only found 2 retro masks.

Me too, I get angry during summer time. I hate being hot!!! I love fall, that crisp cool air in the morning, even though it's been warm during the day. But at night it's nice and cool. I wish Fall lasted a couple months. I already decorated for Halloween. My favorite store this year is Walmart, love all their Halloween decor.

These videos help me stay in the *spooky* spirit! I love seeing them, especially since I'm still looking for things, but I have to go back home (currently at a college town) since there are not many seasonal decorations anywhere. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll find more vintage cats and maybe a headless horseman...
