VIXX are best known for their dark or creepy concepts. They are a six member group under Jellyfish that was formed during a survival show the company made for their first idol group - Jellyfish is best known for quality soloists/actors. Voodoo Doll was their first win and is their most gory of MVs but they do like concepts that delve into the darker sides of romances from toxic love to extreme heartbreak and ruin to even creepy serial killer. They're currently on hiatus due to three members in military service so the last release was Scentist which is completely different in mood but still creepy.
omg i'm a little surprised you haven't heard of vixx i feel like you would really like their music in general! their concepts are generally on the darker side but they're always super interesting and unique and imo they have great music! i would love for you to check out more of their mvs at some point (you don't have to react to them i just feel like you would like them)
Considering that they haven't released anything in Korea since 2018, Ravi left Jellyfish to make his own one-man label, N was in the military and didn't renew with Jellyfish, it makes you realize how they've been off the map for a while and so many new groups have popped up.
Yes, Taemin was the one who drank the pearl-aqua (SHINee color) drink and turned the same color. He's also the one who had his eyes knocked out. Key was the one who had his head chopped off, Jonghyun had his lips stolen and vomited confetti, Onew had his nose stolen, and poor Minho had his face torched. The concept for the video was an evil bride stealing specific body parts from each SHINee member to make the perfect groom.

You have to check out VIXX more! Their music is amazing and they're kind of known as kings of concepts... they did a bunch of stuff really. Voodoo Doll is one of their most famous songs, Error is also one, but they had a bunch of amazing songs really (again). My favorites are Only U and Fantasy, but I also love Hyde, On and On, Shangri-La (which is one of my favorite kpop MVs in general)... there's really a lot! I hope you'll find time for them! You should also check out KARD more, I love their songs - You & Me is actually my least favorite song by them hahaha... they're really cool! And we need more co-ed groups!

Yes I'm a starlight (VIXX fan) they're great. Their music is really good, and are known for their concepts. Whatever the video is titled expect that. --Dont know if anyone will understand but me being a big sonic nerd when I saw like a cat i was like "They did this all for a chaos emerald?!" I mean very Rouge lol
Voodoo Doll by VIXX is one of my favorite k-pop MVs. For me, it was the time of good music videos. I don't really like new ones, too abstract and minimalist for me.

They debuted in 2012 with 6 member unders Jellyfish ent. They won their first win with voodoo doll mv. This mv actually has a clean ver. Because original one ( the one you watched is actually 19+) and the choreo of this song also 19+ ( because of the stabbing move) so they remove some moves from chore before live performances. They were saying " I'll do anything for you" to girl because this song about toxic relationships. The girl doesnt like them ( or him if we consider them as same person) but they still want to be with her even they got hurt. Vixx use this "love hurts but you need to still love her" concept a lot. I got into VIXX back in 2013, so I basically would say they are one of my ultimate groups. Yes, I like VIXX a lot, and their concepts fit me because I enjoy horror movies. I had seen this music video multiple times, more than 20 times, because this is the first video I got into them back in 2013 with when I was in middle school, maybe in 7th grade.

This KARD song is about how obsessive a relationship can be, even if only one of the sides still hanging on. This is why the guys "are gone" and the girls are still trying to keep it going on. Also, the motel name is APEGO which means Attachment in Spanish/Portuguese.
As other comments said, you should check out more VIXX for sure! especially thinking of your major...I think you've never heard of them because they're not a 'main stream' type of group. They're more like theatrical, artsy and conceptual. Even their choreos have a feeling of modern dance rather than street dance or hip-hop in my opinion. In terms of making video, I recommend Error, Fantasy, The Closer and Shangri-la. and maybe Scentist too? because the way they used colors and how well presented the concept of 'Scent' into video, music and choreo are impressive. 'Beatiful Liar' of the sub unit VIXX LR is a well produced MV too. If you are interested in stages as well, Shangri-la from MBC and Scentist from KBS and MBC(both stages are related) are good to see regardless to uploading reactions. Hi, I'm Brazilian and first I would like to say that I LOVE your channel, second I wanted to say a little more about the KARD clip, the motel has the name APEGO, which in Latin languages means obsessive / possessive love. The clip shows how they can't let them go, even dead, since they're attached.
So the story behind SHINee's Married to the Music mv is that the creepy ghost bride took every single SHINee member's best features to build her perfect man or groom that being leader Onew's nose, Jonghyun's (R.I.P) lips and voice, Key's head, Minho's skin or facial structure, Taemin's eyes. The "man" who had the random close-up at the end was the ghost bride's groom.

I don’t do that towards important matters or people. I only form an opinion fast and depending on what it is, don’t really care about changing it since it’s not that important. In this case, I have a lot of other music to listen to and catch up on, so it’s not my priority to make sure I actually still agree with my previous opinion.
