France got its ass consistently handed to it and suffered multiple coups within a short period of time. France wasn't a significant military power from the 1810's-1950's and they only regained their status because the Americans dropped an absolute fuckton of cash into their postwar economy and subsequently its military during the red scare. Interestingly enough the 19th century is something the french have spent the best part of the last 100 years trying to forget, what with it never being touched upon in school and whatnot. Also blame Nappy III for 1870 that's all I'm sayin' And ironically WWI is probably the war where the French were at their best, it's just that they got PTSD from it.
2:20 well, after World War I they were high on their victory. They still delivered messages through letters , troops were rarely inspected, and they didn’t practice. When World War II came around they were unprepared and didn’t do much in the beginning

The French were fine(ish) in WWI. It’s largely WWII, Indochina, and Algeria that kinda screwed the French reputation. Also the Suez Crisis, while technically a military victory, didn’t do much of anything to improve their standing due to the political repercussions. Edit: Forgot about the Franco-Prussian War of 1870, but that predates WWI so I’m not sure how much of an influence that one is.
Let’s be real, it feels like everything after the Troy fight was filler. If they had Troy take all of Tyreens Powers right before the fight and the story ended after you killed him the campaign would be like 5x better honestly
I would like to see a DLC on 3 where it’s oboeshoes trying to be jack and saying elements when you play he would say donations like he is streaming complaining that he couldn’t kill the player and if he kills you he would say wow you died go farm something but I really wanna hear him say corrosion at random parts of the DLC oh and I can’t forget he orders Bionicles and talks about them I know this won’t be a dlc but I would love to see it

I hope they'll make an option to not allow this halloween crap, it's tedious, I don't care for halloween and I don't care for the loor they drop either, but ghosts spawning constantly gets old quick
when you boot up the game, instantly press continue on the main screen, this event is brought by an hotfix and it needs you to be in the character selection/continue screen for a few seconds in order to activate so if you press continue as soon a you can, you should be able to play without the event active.. or just play offline.. also the fearmonger legendary shotgun is super freaking powerful if you get it with incendiary or radiation, I have both and they melt so it definitely is worth the hassle..
