Past two years we’ve done all 10 houses and been able to relax , eat and enjoy scare zones with just doing scream early. Last year we got 5 houses done before the park even opened to all guest and did four of our favorites a second time. If you can’t budget it into your trip I wouldn’t stress and just try to hit the ones you really want to experience first.
Attended Hollywood, CA in '22 regular ticket and '23 w/express pass. Here are our experiences: '22: only saw 3 mazes in a total of 5 hours we were there and we didn't have much time to look, eat and drink peacefully. '23: saw 7 mazes, had time to have a couple drinks, sit and eat for about 30 min also within 5 hours. Missed the terror tram because it stopped running at midnight and skipped 2 mazes that we didn't care for. IMO, express pass is definitely worth it. Also recommend going during the earlier dates to save some money.
Be there next week on the 5th. I've had the HHN tickets for a couple months but was hesitant on Express passes b/c I'm a cheapskate lol. Been watching the previews the last couple days and reading about past experiences. You guys convinced me. I don't want to stand in 3 lines all night and miss out on experiences the scare zones or not get to eat ,shop at all. After I bought it, realized the HHN Ticket + Express breaks down to less per person than standard line prices at most haunts I've been to in the last five years. Super excited to finally attend HHN, gonna be exhausted when my wife drags me to Magic Kingdom 5 hours after HHN ends though lol.
@@fudge_factor Yep, this will be my first time. My wife wanted to go to Mickey's Halloween so my deal on flying in for just weekend trip was that I finally got to do HHN.
Thinking of biting the bullet. I am going October 3rd and if I don’t experience all houses, I will be disappointed.. but I also don’t feel like waiting in lines all night and missing some food.
Being a Thursday night, it shouldn’t be too crazy compared to a weekend. But if you’re going for just 1 day… that guarantee of shorter wait times is nice!
You won't regret spending the money for Express, but you will regret NOT spending the extra money for Express. Don't fudge your night by not getting express!
I need all the tips and tricks. It'll be my 1st HHN and I want to make most of it. Probably go a few times to make sure I see it all. Thanks for the vids
100% worth it. Period. We did express for 1 night last year. Got all 10 houses in (and 2 twice), was even able to get in the show and a couple rides. But be warned, we also logged over 40k steps that night. So, as Ben and Aub would say...wear comfy shoes! BTW- Great meeting you guys at OI this year!
Last year we did 2pm day/night GA in Hollywood and we did all of them except The Purge show and The Last of Us (didn’t care to see this since I didn’t watch the show). It’s definitely doable to do all of em but it’s exhausting. We basically had to power walk everywhere and didn’t have many breaks. We didn’t even get to do the Mario world rides. This year we’re doing the same ticket but with express so we can relax, eat and enjoy our time more!
We are going on a Wednesday night, Sept 10th to hopefully minimize the crowds. I hope it isn't too crowded then. And I still wonder if we will need Express Passes for that "hopefully" off night.
We’ve heard Wednesdays aren’t as crazy… but it could still be rough. We will give props to the express option this year, it HAS significantly cut down on wait times for us.
@@fudge_factor Thanks, I'm not looking to start out with spending over $200 just to get into the front door. Was thinking maybe paying for Stay and Scream to get my money and times worth for one evening. Have you guys ever paid for the stay and scream option?
We haven’t paid for the stay and scream, because we normally are at an onsite hotel and have day time tickets. However, if we didn’t… we would for sure pay for stay and scream. It’s worth the advance entry to the houses!
We buy the single express pass and burn it without even thinking about it. Our goal is to see all of the houses in one night and maybe only go a second time in only maybe 1 or 2 houses
NGL have been considering on buying express for the 4th just so we can go through some house together I mean I think we should get the whole EPA group together for HHN!!
There’s a hotel entrance for HHN. Although, we haven’t taken advantage of it. The key move is to use stay and scream if possible. You can bust out like 4 houses before the main gate even opens.
How much is the express pass at the park ?? I always did unlimited but I wanna do general tickets this year with getting the express pass when I get there
Hello 😊 I have a question (it might sound dumb but I'd rather ask) This will be my first year going to HHN (but in Hollywood) I'm planning to get the single night ticket, and my question is: Do I have to buy the HHN ticket and the ticket to the park separately? Or they're the same? Thank you so much 😊
If you plan on going to the parks during the day and during Halloween horror nights you will need both a daytime park admission ticket and a Halloween horror nights ticket! Are you excited for your first hhn?
@@fudge_factor Would you ever consider doing a ranking of all the houses from least scary to most scary? Like for those that may want to brave going to a house, knowing which one isn't too scary to start out with?
@@metallicnole4514 I walked right on Gringotts, so they’re super, super low! Just watch out if it rains. Then people flock to the rides to get out of the rain.
Opening night is going to be nuts…. In a super fun, good way, but the crowds are going to be crazy. If you are trying to get everything done on opening night I would recommend it!
I have a question..Have you ever done the RIP group tour?? Does it feel like you were ushered to each house and didn't have time to take in all the side fun and food that's happening?. All of the videos I've seen so far about RIP tour make it seem like its a rushed time. Id love to hear anyone opinion since I'm considering the RIP tour/group..no private...we only have 2 kids to sell
We have not done an RIP tour. People rave about them though. Your tour guide will tell you the back story of the houses and you go right to the front of the line! We don’t know if you feel rushed or not, so we will leave that for someone with more experience about the tour!
@@fudge_factor I’ll be there September 26th! We ended up getting the express passes and plan to get the scream early ticket, too!!! Still not as good as my beloved RIP, but it’ll do. 😂
