I saw Bambang in cove cafe 💯💯❤️🔥. He’s awesome at art on coffee’s No fun drinks today or bars. A little disappointed, but your thoughts ship and food at 1923 made up for it, lucky you got a window seat. We were on same side not by window, but our servers were amazing
@marla07860 I remember you mentioned the drinks and bars in the last vlog. Of course, we’ve already recorded everything, but to my memory we didn’t actually drink much or spend a lot of time at the bars. We aren’t big drinkers. So you may not see much more beyond the bars on day 1.

Great video 👍🏼 I like how you show so many activities. 1923 was my favorite restaurant on the Wish…the food and atmosphere. I like the shows but sometimes it’s just too loud and too much and hard to enjoy your meal🤷🏻♀️
Hi, I enjoy watching your family vlogs. We just got back from an 8 night western Caribbean on the fantasy. Was supposed to be a Bermuda destination but was rerouted for the hurricane. Now, I’m looking to book another cruise. We want to try the wish but hesitate only doing 3 or 4 night trip. We did a 4 night several years back on the Wonder, and while it was wonderful, we yearned for more time! Could you do a recap on your thoughts about a shorter 4 night cruise vs the longer fantasy cruises? I’m torn for next year! Our choices are a 7 night Eastern Caribbean fantasy Halloween cruise or a shorter trip on the Wish for the very first time. My gut is leaning towards the fantasy again, because it will be different ports and Themed this time. Thoughts anyone? lol
This is a topic we will for sure cover in an upcoming vlog, but I think the simple answer would be longer cruises = better! Maybe you can do a 7 night on the Treasure! If not, I think the Fantasy cruise will be wonderful. The 4 night Wish cruise was great, and we did love the Wish. But, we also love the Fantasy!
We actually showed up at the tail end of trick or treating, and Norman got a couple handfuls of candy. We sat down to watch Nightmare Before Christmas on Funnel Vision, then it started drizzling so we decided to take it back to our room -- much later realized the candy bag never came back with us 😆
It's interesting how you guys prefer to be next to the stairs and elevator because usually you avoid those rooms that are close to heavy foot traffic areas when you stay at a hotel. I guess the sound of thudding footsteps outside of your room isn't that much of an issue on a giant cruise ship? 😂
We have actually never heard sound like that outside our room, which is why we have stayed in rooms close by elevators and stairs. No long walks down the hallway to get to our room and it’s not noisy 😀
My favorite Halloween movies are The Exorcist (1973) directed by William Friedkin and The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter and both of them are on the top of my list as the greatest Halloween movies ever created as well:).
I agree with you about navigating the ship. I don’t think it was difficult, just inconvenient sometimes. 😂 So glad y’all enjoyed the Wish! Look forward to the next video!

Great vlog! Love that your family makes effort to do activities together like family karaoke! I’ll have to make sure I try to get my family on board for that next time! We just went on the Wish for HOTHS too :)
Thanks! That seems to happen more on the shorter cruises when our girls don’t have the opportunity to meet other teens. We always try to plan in some family time and create space for everyone to do their own thing as well. It’s why we enjoy cruising so much. Relaxation and fun 😊

We went on a Marvel Day at Sea cruise out of Miami on the Dream and we were so deflated that there was only one or two things related to Marvel or Marvel Day at Sea merch in any of the stores. We so looked forward to the merch for memories. Nice to see they loaded the Halloween merch for your cruise. Looks like a great time. We are going to cruise aboard the Wish for the first time in May 2024. Only been aboard the Dream for 5 cruises. I look forward to the changes.
We would still love doing a marvel day (at least Alyssa would)! But it is just one day of the whole cruise. That is how all of Disneys themed cruises are. The Wish is really great, just be prepared for the differences and be open to a new feel, but it’s still Disney.
Halloween cruises are so fun! I love an excuse to wear a costume. BTW, yes, that spirit jersey you were looking at IS Hocus Pocus. Those girls you didn't recognize on the back are actually the main protagonists in the sequel that came out last year. The Sanderson Sisters were on the front along with Billy.
We didn’t get into the new hocus pouch’s movie too much, so that explains why we didn’t recognize those characters. Definitely not as iconic as the sisters!
Hi as you have been on the magic and wish - what would you want Disney to change and would / nt change etc. I do realise that the magic is 25 years old and wish is 1 year old. My hamsters are complete foodies too. They all love cheese, chicken and everything they can pouch / stuff in their cheeks for later.
We love the smallness of the classic ships, but we love all the options the larger ships offer. Adult areas are better on the classic ships & are lacking on the Wish. Food is better on the Wish in our opinion.
I (Chris) made that one! I got the main design off of a FB group: “Disney Graphics You Can Personalize” and updated/personalized it using photoshop. Then printed and laminated it and stuck a few magnets on it 😊 I make a new one each time we cruise.
New to your channel. We have a son who's 13 and are going to Universal in 2025. We've done Disney world and hope to do a cruise soon as well. Interested in seeing your kids on the cruises so we can see if our Sam will enjoy.
We love cruising more than the parks. The parks are fun, and we enjoy them, but cruising feels more like a vacation to us. We’re always so exhausted after some days at the parks 😊
It’s common for us! 😂 The great thing is, if you only want one thing. Go for it. But if you want try it all, you can do that too. We know a lot of people who enjoy doing that on cruises.
I am enjoying your Disney Wish videos . My wife and I will be on our fifth Disney cruise in January - 4 nights on the Wish. Since I have seen a number of somewhat negative reviews of this ship, it was refreshing to find your generally positive (and well presented) reflections based on your recent cruise.
Thanks for your kind words 😊 We strive to find the positive in everything, even when there are also a few things to we don’t prefer. One thing is for sure - we enjoyed the Wish way more than any disappointment we experienced!

I also bought a laminator from Amazon for about $25, laminating sheets and adhesive magnets. So glad our videos are helpful! The extra cost sweet shops have more than just ice cream, as you saw in the video. It’s not soft serve - they have many flavors of actual ice cream (not soft serve) and they also have gelato! It’s optional, so if you do t want to spend the extra $, you don’t need to 😊 Disney also has sweet shops on the Fantasy & Dream, but not on the Magic or Wonder.
Kind of. It’s a multi purpose sports space called the Hero Zone. Basketball and games like ping pong, foosball, etc… once in a while they set up an incredibles obstacle course in there.
If I remember correctly, it was about $75 per person. We booked it through Disney. They served drinks on board the catamaran, and the crew made it a lot of fun, and were all was very helpful!

The great thing about cruising on Disney is, if you want to go without paying anything extra, you totally can and you will still have a great time! But if you don’t mind paying extra for a few things, that’s ok too 😊
