I just want to say thank you for taking my recommendation for this video. I was one of the very first people to receive Recon Armor before anyone got their hands on it. I won BRY-SI’s music competition creating a parody of Tupac’s Thug mansion calling it Halo Mansion and won first prize. I cut school, ran back home, and there it was in my armor set... Recon... I can’t begin to tell you the excitement I had... THIS was the armor of the game, and I had it. I was then introduced to members of Bungie and the other small elite group of Recon Armor owners and we all became friends. I was an online celebrity, it was amazing. Then the day came when Bungie announced they had the Vidmaster Achievements for the public to receive Recon Armor - I asked my Bungie friends how that was fair to us who had won it before - what would we get? “Do them, and check you armor chest slot... things may get a little hot ;)” For the last few months of Halo 3, before Halo 4 came out... I had modded Elite White Armor, Recon, and the Flaming Chest Piece from Bungie... I miss those days, so much fun playing long hours into the night with friends... Halo 3 was one of the best times of my video game career. The best!

I think the reason the helmet keeps changing during the Cortana Cutscene is because you keep forgetting to replace the reflective visor variant of Chief's model so whenever that model appears it changes the helmet
