All of TOX lifting in that last game was ballsy as hell. I was rooting for Rec, but I would've loved to see them win that game just because of that play. What a great event, definitely one of the best HCS events so far.

Watching this brings back so many memories. Gaming was a much simpler time in 2008, Halo 3 was all I ever played. Cannot wait for the MCC to launch on PC.

I played Halo 2 and 3 like 5-6 hours a day every day. Those days were soooo much fun. Wish they could have had continued success after Halo 3! RIP MLG!

Its really a bummer that H3 never got around to the multimillion dollar competitive scene. Guys like SnipeDown, Neighbor, Roy, Lunchbox are just legends playing for fun now. They deserve more.

As much as I enjoy the new, extremely fast paced games, especially since the BR wave as come full force now, Halo truly is the perfect balance between pace and strategy. Halo 2 was the best competitive console game ever, and Halo 3 right behind it. That’s why anyone who has thousands of hours in Halo is good at every single game that comes out. You can always learn how to shoot especially in games that favor low sensitivities or have helpful auto aim but you can’t just learn strategy overnight. Halo is the reason I’ve been good at every single shooter I’ve ever played. If you weren’t around to witness it you’ll never understand the level of competition. Even placing Top 32 was a pretty nice accomplishment, whereas nowadays it’s the same 4 teams in every game, competing under the same orgs and the same group of 32 pros remain pro based on their names not their current skill level. Look at APG; completely disinterested throughout the entirety of Halo 5, constantly under performing yet always on a Top 8 team. Why? His name. This is in my opinion what has contributed to the death of Halo, alongside sprint and ADS sens being native to every new game and lacking in Halo titles.

Not trying to be a douche but Gilkey is the reason Lux got knocked out. He choked 2 games in a row during their last series. I feel bad for Bubu, you can tell he is so hungry for a win and I hope he gets it one day. Hopefully they can work out those kinks and get better
