It is sad to say that I had no idea this tournament was happening, or that H3 was even still being played competitively. Glad I have seen it now though. Best competitive gameplay

@@DoableJay The games all have their original ranking systems I believe. Except maybe reach, it uses a 1-50 system like halo 2 but also there's a separate rank which unlocks cosmetics.
@@jace_Henderson yeah 4 was a little dull. 5 is basically a product of games like this where they never use the most fun stuff. Where's the bubble shields and spartan lasers and grav lifts etc
It is good to see that Halo 3 is being played by new people that were too young to experience it during the Championships and MLG Tournaments back in the day's of 2008-09. God am I old now.
This is one of my favorite Halo 3 series ever played. You see the glimmer after they nearly make a very tough comeback on Construct. Then grab the reverse sweep and handle business like the OG pros they are. The BRs were simply outrageously on point on Heretic, and then just outclassed with set up, callouts, teamwork on Narrows, so many team kills.
Love to see H3 making a competitive comeback. H4 and H5 do not do the true essence of competitive Halo justice. Not even a little bit. Now bring back ZBNS Reach on HCS!!
The commentary is quite poor and, actually, horrible compared to golden age of MLG with Halo 2 and Halo 3. These commentators are just talking with themselves about unrelated stuff. The video is much better without them.
game 4 ending.. walshy is a terrible commentator lol. less than a minute on the clock as reciprocity runs the final flag to end the game and he's trailing off on some sidebar instead of actually commenting on the game
Hey announcers, we don't need explanations left and right about every single play, opinions, or what's going on. (Especially walshy..jeez dude). How about just do a listen in the whole time instead.
