Yeah, most spartan 4s (especially the first classes) were comprised of ODST and marine veterans from the Human-Covenant war. For example, Palmer was the first class of spartan 4s and she was an ODST. Buck, Mickey, Romeo, and Dutch became Spartans later on and they all were Odsts too.

Bob Dylan, I played halo 1 n 2 on the original Xbox.. I love the series. Still play halo 5 multiplayer.. don’t like the halo 5 or 4 story as much as the other. With that said, I made a mistake misremembering if 343 took over during halo reach or halo 4. I now know which it was. Still my argument stands, they have picked up some real cheesy ass writers for halo 5 because god damn the jokes in that one aren’t funny and the story is just okay to me. I have a bigger problem with the environments in halo 5.

@@Mortablunt Well Halo has always been a pseudo open world, just the ability to explore around the sandbox, this was Halo original intended design.. But scrapped due to hardware limitations so they scrapped it like thrice , Open to RTS to 3rd to 1st.. And from there just up the fidelity of the graphics, massive polishing within I think a month or sth.. And idm the open world with the current story going forward... Infinity is scattered fighting the Banished.. It'll basically be like Halo 1 but instead of novel, it's in game former when all the marines were scattered across the ring but on a larger scale but this time the marines are more well equipped to survive, at least most of them, considering they had older weapon variants.. Even Spirit of Fire on Wars 2, was merely lucky save temporarily.. Using the ark defense to stop a fatal disaster. With all this, idk how they gonna make this a 10 year project, the Human-Banished war can't possibly go on the ring forever.. I can project roughly a good 6 year project after release, 10 is too much.. It saves time on redesigning a game at least until when the next trilogy comes against the Created

@@lapis3345 The new UNSC designs are better (although I do think Chief's Halo 4 armour looks better than Infinite's armour). The Forerunner stuff is an acceptable return to form, I liked how the 343 Forerunner stuff was for actual buildings and planets, when the brutalism was for weapons and facilities. We're on a Halo ring, so obviously the designs will look different from Requiem and Genesis. The Banished are just new altogether, but I really dislike how the more generic Covenant stuff has changed. The darker purple and light green designs of the Covenant in Halo 4 looked damn good, It's honestly a shame that it's disappearing.
