with all honesty if halo 6 brings the elites back and add grunts as playable species then I would like to see how people who wanted to play as a grunt go.
Well the Grunts in the Swords of Sangheilios have the roles as Farmers and are treated equally, in the military Grunts can be commanders over the elites they are assigned to command
@@Seriona1 I think any elites that side with the Arbiter would have to be more tolerant of other species than traditional elites, especially since the Swords have allied with the humans. Most of the other Sanghieli factions that refused to join Thel Vadam did so precisely because the Arbiter was working with the humans.
Sanghelli, becuase of their honor code, see visiting a doctor or a medic as shameful. It has something to do with the spilling of blood being equivalent to a loss of their honor. Its a bit odd.
Jason Banks before thel became the leader of "the fleet of particular justice" one of his soldiers injured themselves in a cell so he asked thel to end him
4:11 That right there is what shows the wisdom of The Arbiter. He knows how to fight battles and wars on every front: Physical and Mental. He. Is the Sangheili version of Lord Hood.
Your average grunt Do you believe it's true? War was my home, because I grew up in the war, I lost my best friend as well. I enlisted in a sniper team called "eagle-eyes". We were talking only in case of an emergency, we were training in parkour, freerunning, target shooting and other training. We were stronger than those elite or as you call them, we just need a knife to kill one of them, do not believe to be better than a human, otherwise I will make you repent of what you say, understood?
I fucking love hearing the elites speak, wether it be about combat, honor, or just shooting the shit. I could listen to it for hours, I don't know why. Maybe it's the way they speak or just the sound of their voices. It's weird...
It's not the best stories...but compared to halo it is the worst of halo in terms of well the spartans....just a bit boring...also good way of looking at the positives
Rokkfel my only problems with the story is that there was only 3 missions for blue team. Other than that I really like the direction halo 5 has taken the story and after reading bad blood and seeing the aftermath i'm extremely hyped for halo infinite
@@luisibarra3220 No, they don't. What you're responding to is the proof, so please type like a grown up and not like you're writing hate mail to the White House.
"They will look to the horizon as their holy idol rises from the sea and forsakes them. And that, is where the Covenant dies." Thel'vadaam, even in this shitty game, is as awesome as ever. As wise as he was when he killed Truth.
ive got mad respect for the elite medics: in a society that outright views you as a lesser being and not even worth the air you breathe, these guys are out there literally fighting (the patient) to save the patients lives... triage in a combat zone is bad enough, but to have to deal with fighting your patient just to heal them too is just something else.
2:40 Sali ‘Nyon was in the comic series Halo: Escalation, he rebelled soon after Jul ‘Mdama destroyed Requiem, his first rebellion failed, but his second rebellion proved powerful, taking a covenant flagship, returning to Sanghelios, maybe they’ll show whatever happened to him next, his fate and the fate of his Covenant is unknown, but I don’t think he’s dead
I’d like to think ONI (or whatever’s left of it) might supply them with weapons and use it’s Sangheli agents to “encourage” Sali to give the Banished a headache. Unless Cortana already vaporized them with a guardian.
That part with the singing grunt. Did anyone else see that rock behinh his tank looked like a face? It reminds me of the that skinless titan from Attack on Titan.
4:14 HOLY SHIT THEY GOT KEITH DAVID TO VOICE THE ARBITER AGAIN AND HE WASN'T A MAJOR CHARACTER OF THE STORY?!?!?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?! They better fix that in Halo 6
3:21 my favorite part. HALO 5 may have had some 'questionable' story telling (I blame Microsoft for rushing 343 in development) it least the gameplay and dialogue hasn't changed
While I believe that 343 will do much better with the story and game design of the campaign, I really hope these type of “missions” return. You really do get an insight into the mundane parts of the Halo Universe. Mixed that with great dialogue, it immerses the player more.
that was some of the most well written dialogue i have ever heard from a game. heck it's almost like 343 time traveled to every war just to document that
Palmer shot Halsey in the arm with a magnum which uses semi-armor piercing High explosive rounds, if it for chance didn't blow the arm straight off, Jul probably had it amputated, so technically, it was palmer who took Halseys arm since she shot the scientist.
I like the old elites because they looked better didn't stand around doing nothing most of the time and you could understand what they where saying!! Glad to know they kept Arbiters voice
I'm sorry, but what were you on? This video is about dialogue, of course the uploader was not going to show them fighting. Besides, it was the same in Halo 3, the only other instance you aren't fighting against them, when not engaged in combat. That was all mission context, same as this. Nothing but their appearance has changed.
I keep forgetting how grunts are over five feet tall. It's because they're usually next to elites, brutes, and spartans that are all over seven feet tall.
This is one of the only things 343 did correctly. I love hearing casual dialogue like this. It humanizes the enemy species we fought in previous Halos. It gives them more than 2 dimensions.
Positivitea their voices used to sound so noble but when 343 unnecessarily changed their design they also changed their voices. I hate pretty much everything about the new elites their pretty much just Brutes now.
I do not presume to know each and every one of my brethren's intentions, but my guess is that they wish to sound intimidating to any humans present in order to assert fear and dominance, thus the brutish voice. There are plenty, especially the Arbiter and myself, who find this ridiculous and undignified.
His intelligence in the last part in the video really makes me wonder why 343 are having Sangheili like the one in the middle part of the video see a religious fanatic like Sali Nyon as a more capable leader than the Arbiter
I agree that it doesn't have the best story but people act like it's the worst thing ever and it's just not true wtf In fact what happened in Halo 5 is not far fetched in the Halo universe and it's pretty much history repeating itself.
People say Halo 5 is bad but it’s my favorite, the detailed idle dialogue and redone looks of the aliens and everything else breathes so much more life into halo for me. So hyped for halo 6
I'm glad this includes the tent medic dialogue. That's actually a real thing with sanghelli. They believe it dishonorable to draw blood outside of battle. Medical attention is a disgrace to them.
I find their opinions of honor foolish. Where is the honor in dying in battle if there is more glory to be found? It would be more honorable, in my own and many others opinions, to be wounded, receive treatment, and fight another day.
