1:04 A bit of a correction on this part. The Covenant ships are much faster than the UNSC's. They chased after POA, but they got to the ring first and set up a defensive parameter to try and prevent POA from landing on Halo. Those ships outside are actually lore accurate now.

1:18 that is the first cannonically named elite in the halo books, he was sent to watch and capture captain keyes, he hung out on the bridge until the captain and other bridge crew escaped on the lifeboat, 5the 3elite snuck on the lifeboat, keyes asks one of the marines for his sidearm and guns the invisible elite down with 3 shots (iirc), then tells the marine to make sure he reloads it

From the Halopedia Site The Nornfang was manufactured by Misriah Armory for their internal competitive sharpshooting team. The weapon went missing at some point, eventually coming into the possession of Spartan Linda-058. Linda loads the Nornfang with 14.5×114mm Armor-Piercing High-Explosive (APHE) rounds and has modified the rifle to ensure her HUD's motion tracker is still visible even while using its optics.

Also, there was a covenant fleet already at the Halo ring. That's how they had such an established force there on the ring.

Nornfang is the sniper that belonged to Spartan-058 Linda. Who is part of Blue team alongside Master Chief, Fred, and Kelly. Also, I wholeheartedly recommend the Mythic Overhaul mod for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. It is an amazing overhaul mod. You do have to manually replace the sfx but as long as you back up 3 and Reach you'll be fine. As well as Halo 2 uncut.

An easy solution to lack of grenades is to turn on the pinata skull (for anyone who doesn't know makes enemy's drop grenades when meleeing them). It will allow you to get plenty of grenades from sleeping grunts and infection forms. Overall this a pretty great mod, and in my opinion is what the CE anniversary should have done.
