Not during my first play through during the early 2000s as a kid, but I certainly do remember it on this current play through I’m doing for the first time in like 15 years. Walked around a corner hoping for just some face huggers and instead there was a flood with a rocket launcher standing RIGHT NEXT to the turn of the corner, so when I came into view he spun around, fired the launcher, and killed both of us lol

I am having so much more fun watching these than I was expecting. was just looking for some basic halo lets plays for nostalgia. I've been completely unable to find anything fun to watch the past few days and i wasn't expecting this to be the first thing to get me to laugh this much. I'm enjoying your videos keep it up. editing is great btw and you two are hilarious.

I love seeing the noobs go through and play the old games, Halo, in my opinion, was ahead of its time, not many games go from all shoot and kill, to kill and survive. Combat Evolved was my first game I played

We eventually realized I didn't know all of Cortana's context and Deej cleared it up 😂 I thought she came from the ancient ruins discovered in Reach, not that she was an AI made by the team and used to interface with that info!

@@Rookuri Eskeet, Cortana was made through illegal practices of Flash Cloning, where Dr. Halsey cloned herself and then passed Nano-technology through the clone’s brain to scan, copy and download the brain into a Supercomputer, and then fry the brain to kill the clone. This is the first step in the Halo Universe toward true A.I., rather than make an attempt at a human being fully coding out a sentient intelligence, it’s easier to Flash Clone and use Nano-Tech to copy the brain into the Database.

Well, this game was officially released on November 15, nearly 21 full years ago in 2001, which means the game had been in development easily since, at the very least, 1998. Of course the physics engine is bad, it’s not like it was using the latest Unreal Engine 5; it was made at the end of the 90s and polished off during the first 2 years of the New Millennium. Technology sucked asshole 21 years ago compared to now.

Its pretty consistent that old players preferr the old graphics because its darker (creepy/sentimental), while new players preferr the new because its prettier.

I’ll be honest, I have never once in my life considered downloading Twitch. I’ve been looking for a blind playthrough of Halo for a while now, and every one I’ve come across, I just somehow can’t quite stick with. Witch is sad bc I absolutely adore Halo. But I’m only 32 seconds in and I already like your energy soooo I’m getting twitch now lol Edit: Got the app and already having a blast! They will really like playing the Cursed mod for HaloCE by infernoplus now. Especially their reaction to the d20 grenades will be hilarious. Unfortunately it's coop mode doesn't have the karate kick option.

Og graphics are better imo, the remaster never looked quite right. Same with h2 anniverssary, the remastered graphics have too many flashy effects. Cutscenes are still great tho

i prefer the Halo 2 remaster as it's true to the original in its designs improving on many as well such as the Marine armour while Halo CE used far too many Halo Reach assets instead of recreating the assets from Halo CE for example the CE marine armour would've looked amazing in HD instead we got the Reach armours.
