The best part of this video is the fact that maxor touched on the creek, and in the time it took him to make and upload this video, we lost the creek, took back the creek, eradicated the bots, and had them reinvade

When the bots came back I was so happy. I fought on the Creek so much I was used to being constantly shot at, having to improv my way to a kinda sorta bare bones minimum victory with 3-8 samples including the super rare, that when the bots died and all we had left were bugs, I was sad, I played the game but I wasn't feeling it. When I heard the bots were back I had 2 hours on my shift, I worked so hard and so fast to ask my boss to go home early. I laughed like a maniac on the discord, my friends were worried about me.

@@bogustoast22none25 I was a Crawler as well. I actually missed them so much I went and watched the terminator movies to get my bot fix. I was ecstatic when they came back, especially with a new helms deep styled defense mission

@De_Vegi The Terminator franchise is just Judgment day for me it's far better than the first film imo and can definitely stand on it's own without it, for me Judgement day is so good it makes the first film not worth rewatching but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist and doesn't have my respect unlike the non existent films after Judgement day they aren't even worthy of existing in comparison to it

The Expendable Anti-Tank is literally just an M72 LAW, with the only different is the EAT has a Red-Dot sight. Same shape, same rocket, same preperation. There's a lot of irl weapons in Helldivers 2, it's actually kinda neat to recognize.

01:25 the thing of making satire of fascist ideologies is that there is a fine line between "it works" and "you've overdone it and no one seen the intended mockery". Case in example, Helldivers 2, that is so over the top that no one cares that the background lore of the 'main faction' states that you're fighting for a dictatorship parading itself around as a democracy.

Fun fact: Brood Commanders can *also* tunnel underground and pop up behind you. This one's a little harder to notice, but sometimes you *might* spot one just randomly disappear in a cloud of dirt.

First time it happened to me, they did it to destroy the turret I called down to back me up while I called in extraction (I was running solo). All I could do was yell "Oh, you clever little bitch!" And blast it to Kingdom Come with the Machine Gun 🤣

Apparently he changed it as a joke and then because of some bug couldn't change it back... until he was like 99% done with the video and it suddenly went back to Max0r. It's like the universe just feeds the jokes to him lol.

The thing where some heavies sink into the ground is to excusible, purely for the fact that u tik they do so the bodies become actual obstacles on the map, some of which you can even climb, for a period of time that can actually change how you emgage the enemy as it gives you new cover or landscape traversal. Most other games where wnemies clip through the ground occurs almost immediately after they die and is very jank to deal with. In Helldivers we can accept this event because with the sheer volume of enemies we fight the map would be a hellscape if we had to navigate the bodies and craters simultaneously.

I still find the Kernal Level Anti-Cheat thing stupid, almost every anti-cheat that is used on, any game that's multiplayer, is Kernel Level, and I mean basically all of them, if you have any triple A game with an Anti-Cheat and is online, it has Kernel Level Anti-Cheat. The biggest problem with the Helldivers 2 Anti-Cheat is just that it's an old as shit version that thinks some of the modern windows processes are sus software that could be cheats, and attempts to shut them down sometimes, hence the main reason the game is buggy as shit, they've been actively working on fixing it, hence why it's recently went from taking 80% CPU usage to like, 20% on the average gaming computer/laptop

Kip the black acreen issue when closing pit isnt just helldivers it appears to be a stram ossue as i e been playing a multitude of games all week and most of them get that issue.

You can climb on the corpses of the bile titans, by the way! I found that out the hard way. Killed it with an air strike while i was pinned, and climbed the leg to get some height. Stalwart made quick work of the surrounding enemies. So when they say "The only good bug is a dead bug..." i guess they were right.

I don't hate bugs but they definitely limit my loadout. Need slugger in case of spewer, rover in case of swarms, quasar/eat for chargers, 500kg for titan. Bots I can basically bring Autocannon/quasar and whatever else I please.

The Malevelon Creek saga reminds me of the Volcano Crusades from the early-ish days of For Honor, where the Knight faction decided that the Volcano on the campaign map was now the goal; not winning the season, just holding the Volcano. Same vibes, and both led to incredible memes xD

I like using the 380mm bombardment stratagem with the eagle airstrike stratagem. I also like to use the gatling sentry and recoilless rifle. It's inevitable for anti-cheat to be kernel level. You can't really avoid that as it's mandatory for it to work right. If a person finds it to be a deal breaker, then they can't play anything with anti-cheat software. I honestly don't get why people keep doing that same song and dance of bitching each time they discover an anti-cheat is kernel level. How do even people with technical knowledge like Mutahar not put two and two together?

GPU drivers were one of the big fixes on some of the forums. That and reinstalling Game Guard and editing the config file. I've come across a single Steam Forum post that said to disconnect and restart my router. Mine was a very niche fix.
