Halo Follower Hate Needs To Stop!

Yeah man, totally agree with ya, the hate and beef needs to end, I honestly started off watching both of you at the start during the Halo 4 news cycle, then of course dropped off due to the whole situation years back and disliked the hell out of him for it, watched everyone else for quite a bit till about 2018-19 where I started watching him again and following him on Twitter again where I rather enjoy his content again, like honestly what is the point of wasting energy being toxic and hateful towards him for making such amusing little animations, do they forget there was a huge chunk of the community that shat on Locke (a fictional character) when Halo 5 came out?

We got to stop the beefing and support eachother and encourage eachother. Let's be better than other communities out there!

Also, side note to my previous, but the geometry of this little under-side thruway terrain on this track your building in the footage just gave me an idea to improve a Machinima set I’ve been stuck on the terrain logic for. So thanks lol

I never hated him, but just dont like the speculation type vids of hypotheticals. One thing ive never heard a Halo content creator be able to say is, "i knew it". As great as the franchise is, its always come short. Imo even though Reach broke cannon, it was the most satisfying package. Campaign was good, game modes were great.

The money thing that happened all those years ago hurt and embarrassed him enough to the point where he changed his name. I think he learned his lesson. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks so.

Thanks for saying this. I’m very active in the halo machinima community (which is splintered in itself over other small BS) and HaloFollower is a meme to most of us, but some people def take it too far. There’s a difference between making a HF clickbait joke and marching to his channel to drop a dislike and mean comment. It’s a waste of time and not constructive. I make HF jokes, and haven’t watched him since the Halo 4 days other than catching a couple of his recent animations. Past or present, he’s not my cup of tea. But what I do I jest among friends, I don’t go out of my way to spread negativity for negativity’s sake. The halo machinima community is so small now because after the golden age creators moved on or became less active, all that was left was bs drama. Halo machinima is finally coming back but now there’s barely an audience for it. Halo has been a more conflicted place the past decade than it ever was, whether it’s HF, 343, Red VS Blue. I can’t watch what happened to Halo machinima happen to the halo community at large. Here’s to hoping infinite brings a renaissance for both. I respect that you just got on and spoke your mind on this.

I unsubscribed from halo follower a long time ago, I don't even know why people don't like him but I personally dislike his views on halo, like as a subscriber, the more and more I watched it just annoyed me as a long time halo fan. . I mean i dislike halo 3, and to me he's like the poster child for halo 3 😂 and I'll explain what that means in my next statement. You know the root of the reason why I unsubscribed from halo follower? He has such a huge following and he was speaking as if he was the voice of this community, including me. The constant bickering and bitching about "oh 343 better do this, and they don't listen, and blah blah blah." Stfu kid and let these adults make continue the franchise that belongs to all of us, not just halo 3 players. So many times I just wanted to tell him, yo. If you don't support the franchise as whole, gtfo. 🙄 I hope halo infinite isn't like halo 3, but guess what. If it is, I'm still going to support 343i, share my feedback and continue to support halo as a loyal fan. Someone like greenskull is very empathetic and realizes the halo audience is broad and all has a voice. And that his voice may not reflect all of our views. A good halo channel knows this and is careful to just say "oh halo needs to be this way and I know all of us believe that" which I feel like halo follower does. And that makes me upset because truth be told, he does have a louder voice then me. And the only way I can counter his voice is by going to other channels that understand the halo audience and not just halo 3 fan boys. -rant over. Originally I posted, don't make me unsubscribe from you 😂 but shit I felt like I dick saying that without giving readers a legitimate reason. I'm not carelessly hating. I've been playing halo 1 since it was announced on Mac and had it day 1 on Xbox. I'm passionate. 343i needs our support and love the channels that are bringing all the audiences together to support halo as a franchise. Support is a key factor of development that gives developers the ability to really make a good game. It's support that got us this far.

I was staff for team beyond and trust me within the staff chat, all they would do is hate on halo follower and think of ways of shutting him down.. along with yourself and ready up live as a whole. Halo players are so god damn toxic.

I don’t hate him because I now ignore him and not follow him. Can’t hate someone if you don’t know what’s going on. But I will say one of the biggest reasons why I no longer follow HF is because when he talked about lore..... his info was not accurate at all at some times and when he was corrected..... it wasn’t a good day ......
