@@BoogleBub Yup, that's what I remember. But I can't find where they said it, so wasn't sure if I was right. I've given up on 343i long ago. Haven't touched the game in about a year now. Such a shame to see what they've done to this franchise. Halo 4, MCC, Halo 5, Halo Infinite, and the TV show. All complete and total disasters that genuinely felt disrespectful to the source material. At least MCC is good now and has helped preserve the original bungie games. A silver lining I guess...
@@Beibok I don't know the exacts for that quote, but I am almost certain they said the MkV armour kit items wouldn't appear in the shop. As for any other MkV items, I don't believe they ever said they weren't going to put those in the shop. I'm pretty sure the quote you're thinking of would have been from around the Winter Update in the first year of the game releasing.
@@spacepelimiesdandy344 I mean, I bought it from the shop for the stuff it came with in the bundle. I would have gotten it in the exchange, but I had the extra Xbox Rewards points saved up so I said *"Sure, why not?"* EDIT: Also, who gives a damn about something's meaning when it's just something you purchase with earned points instead of doing something more special, like how Halo 3 had you unlock its armour pieces by completing unique challenges or achievements and so on. There's no accomplishment in grinding out every challenge every week. It's just a mundane task you do in your free time.
