I just started this mission and stopped playing the game. So far I've had a lot of fun even playing at 40fps with everything at the lowest possible. But now the game runs at 28 fps and is very uncomfortable to play. I'll have to wait to get a new graphics card to enjoy this properly.

Honestly, I'm very grateful that 343 had the balls to show the game in its current state rather than do what some other developers do and create a fake scripted demo that resembles nothing like the actual gameplay. Hell, this trailer even forced Microsoft to push the game back a year in order to give the proper polish that it deserves. I just only hope that 343 truly takes advantage of this and give us a Halo game worthy of legends!

On the other hand, you don't know if these demo was actually fake and scripted and the rest of the game is (or hopefully was) in an even worse state. They did seem really proud of this demo, releasing a blogpost talking about how 'good' the graphics were. I will applaud their decision to delay, but the demo itself deserves no praise at all. Not only Halo should be treated with the respect it deserves as one of the flagships IPs of Xbox, but it also has had shit tons of money behind and 5 years of development at this point, this demo was kinda embarrasing, but, i do wish the game the best and hopefully Infinite will finally be the first 343 game that i like.

I find it neat that the brute at the end refers to the human military by their actual name "UNSC" and the chief as "Spartan", not "Demon". It shows a level of respect for humanity that the Covenant never possessed, but the Banished do. They don't simply refer to them as "Humans" but by the name they call themselves as, and they treat chief as a worthy adversary, referring to him by the title Humanity gave him, rather than the one the Covenant gave him.

There are actually a few humans in the Banished, although they're usually kept a secret. The big boss guy we see here (I forget his name) has a specific hatred for humanity, but even he has the respect to name Chief as a worthy adversary.

Its not that hard. Its actually way easier to explain them than to explain any other faction besides UNSC. They are simply rebels that act as mercenaries and their organization got way too big, big enough to be considered threat to everyone, including cortana and the forerunner.

Depending on what it's attached to, most of the time it should be pulling whatever it's connected to towards the Chief, not the other way around. Basically only stuff like Hunters and Brutes weight more than Chief (Elites are taller, but lighter). I would have been really impressed if they had built it to actually work on real physics instead of just being a grappling hook. But it's probably just a Pathfinder type grappling hook, which seems a bit out of character for Chief, who always seemed more like a tank than some sort of high flying mobile space gun ninja.

The banished brute at the end giving the speech to Chief. He's the kind of boss I've been waiting for, he understands the Chief's legacy and will to fight wars on his own. He knows he can destroy UNSC on a live long day but with the Chief having him in his sights, he wants the glory and privilege to fight what the Covenant call a demon. I just deleted a comment I made last year where I said the game will probably be terrible. After playing the flight, feeling the game for myself and seeing the colossal improvements that have been made to it since this demo, I think I can say confidently that this will be a good game. Whether or not it is a good Halo game is yet to be seen, but if the flight gameplay is anything to go by, I think Halo Infinite has the potential to be one of the best in the series.

Reach was so good, i mean all halo games are great for me. The battle for me is between halo 3 and reach.... But halo 4 showed me how emotional can be such a badass spartan like chief, the real connection between john and cortana, and i really loved that (an underrated halo game). 343 must be an example of how to show the current state of your game. Having the balls to show it knowing that it needs polish and care, and most important, listen to the fans that have been with Halo for decades and respect them. It's true that Halo 4 and 5 are not like the Bungie days and doesn't have that charm of the old times, but they clearly are doing their best to give the best Halo they can with their vision.

Yes! Even though the trilogy and reach will forever be the best I had so much fun with halo 4 and 5. While I do think the story of halo 5 was mediocre the gameplay and multiplayer excels. I also liked Halo 4 because it was very different and more focused on exploration almost investigating and lore heavy.

I love the art direction the game is taking too. The Halo trilogy had visual clarity but in Halo 5 it got so hard to identify what’s an enemy and what’s just a normal object/wall (so many enemies blended into the environment). Seeing them go back to ensuring that you get all the information you need by glancing at your environment to get straight into the combat is great! Hope the best for this game.
