Single player was never gone.... Witcher 3 proved that point EA also ate their own words cuz they realized it isnt, hence the reason why they made the new star wars game....
Chief wakes up and 4 things follow 1. Check for AI 2. Get a situation report 3. Grab a gun 4. Get to work Beautiful, it just describes the Chief perfectly.
The armour actually looked better than expected I will admit. But what truly got my heart racing was the soundtrack. I don't know about you, but the soundtrack that plays when Chief exits the pelican, that soundtrack had to have been inspired by Combat Evolved.
im sure we can expect a video eh Acting Male ;) nah in all seriousness definitely, they did so much right in this trailer. Simple but memorable dialogue for the chief. Hardcore original trilogy vibes between the ce aesthetic and 3 themes but in its own new way. For that im very excited.
I think I know what happened! U know the end halo 5? I think the guardians destroyed the halo ring that chief was on in the first trailer or... they rebooted it since the soldier said they lost everything and Cortana was probably in the panel that chief was going to. I hope it’s the 1st one
AutistKEK I switch to ps4 but boy do I miss the Xbox 360 I don’t like Xbox that much but 360 wasn’t that bad I kinda wish Sony and Microsoft would come together
@@particularace_1801 You can mute the players on both systems I mean hell I never talk to anyone when online for that reason. Play the game don't let others play you.
@@gravargen943 not really, he doesn't do anything in the whole story and barely says anything, let alone something charming, you know, like buck is suppposed to do.
the fact that I agree with you even though my favorite book character was in Halo 5 (and he was played by the VA that was always my dream casting for him) hurts me
Are you guys talking about the shotgun yeh it looks like the brecca from Bo3 but I kind of like it and they are probably going to add the new shotgun after release if they don’t have it at release same for the magnum
The way he says "please dont die" before plugging in Master Chief is how I feel about this franchise. He is all of us, that split second before you find out if this is going to work or not. It's about hope.
its about money look at the past 14 years of halo and tell me why so much greed to come out with this game 14 years later and probably a shit story to set up online play and lootbox system.
"Please don't die... Please. Don't. Die. " *Original Shield Charge SFX* "Yes! We're going home!" I hope you all realize that was a message for us, the long time players.
@@W1HURI Well it was better then Halo 5 atleast. At the End of its Life Time Service Halo Infinite will probaly be the best Halo Game. Halo Infinite is beeing supported for 10 Years like Halo MCC.
Dego there is an easy explanation for that but this is the first person who hasn’t actually just given up let me know if you want me to explain it or you can just research it yourself
Need to add a DIY soundboard to my PC so it plays that sound when I turn it on, and the shields down alarm for resetting it, probably more if I come up with more ideas
2 years later, still hyped as fuck for Halo Infinite and this trailer is still SO GOOD. I just got my friend to play all of the mainline halo games in release order with me cause he tried the Halo Infinite flight and thought it was fun. So now we’re both hyped! I’ve got a 3 man squad ready to go! Sadly Co Op won’t be available till 3 months after launch but you KNOW we’re gonna all power through it immediately and then play it with each other when co op comes out
Another cool thing about this original line they cut is that this was the perfect way to continue from Halo 5. at the end of halo five Roland says, so are we just gonna run to which captain Lasky response only until you could find a way to fight. Hear the pilot says we need to run to watch the chief response know we’d fight. This was the perfect line man; i’m so sad they cut it.
Speaking of classic fandoms, did anyone else notice that right at the begining the blurred screen behind him looks like the self destruct *ALARM* from one of the old Star Trek movies?
I just bought it today at Costco for 39.99$ it is on sale. I haven’t played my Xbox one in a year and when I did it was 90% GTA online. My girlfriend bought me a new Xbox controller because mine is busted so that was another reason I didn’t play. Went to Costco seen the game on sale and brought back so many memories from the first games. Got a new controller got a new game time to game again 🎮 !
When the piano started playing all the memories of the previous halo games I played came to me good days when I was a kid and now I’m about to relive another great time when this game comes out.117❤️
Glad to see that 343 finally started listening to the fans and are getting Halo back to it's roots. 4 & 5 just didn't feel like Halo should. I actually have hope that this is gonna be some good shit.
i felt the same way, i think they made it so it was like chief was talking to that guy but also to us, the audience. like "Get ready" for a brand new halo adventure that'll bring back the old good days, fix up all the recent mistakes and give you the time of your lives!
It would be cool if the pilot calls for help and the nearest planet is sanghoilios so he is force to contact them and maybe the banished are unknowingly about to release the flood and the arbiter has to try to stop them
me too! i didnt like it when i first played halo 2(i think i was more disappointed i didnt get to play halo 2 demo), but now its literally my favourite part of all games, maybe even more than chief.
Grim Started back in '04 with Halo 2. Been a fan for literal decades now, all throughout adulthood and its various ups and downs. I'm fucking ready to return.
@@_Cato_ I really enjoyed the first 3 Halos, even 4 but the weakest story for me was Guardians. Idk I really couldn't enjoy that storyline of "oh Cortana goes evil" but seeing Halo Infinite...I think it's a step up in story from the crude bits and pieces there are in the trailer that gives me hope that they can bring Halo back.
It's been like a year since I've watched this trailer, and when the chords kicked in when he wiped away the frost revealing chief. I just started to cry, I don't know why, but I did. I guess I never realized how much this franchise really means to me. Hopefully infinite will be an amazing game, but most importantly... I hope it's an amazing HALO game!
@@alexwolf2845 I would totally buy an Xbox version of Smash called "Microsoft Fight Simulator" (Not my original idea I'm piggybacking) They have the IP's for it.
A random UNSC officer's last words to the Covenant interrogating him: " We didn't have any Forerunner technology. We didn't have some grand destiny supposedly handed to us. We're just some apes from a backwater pebble in the void. We fought, we scraped, we invented, we discovered. We persevered. Against all odds, against our own self-destruction, we rose. We didn't find any lost artifacts, or reverse engineer some fantastical ancient technology. We did it ourselves. We reached for the stars, and touched them, all on our own. That's why you hate us so much, why you call us heathen blasphemers trying to walk in the footsteps of your divine ones. Because we did what you couldn't. We did it...like THEY did. "
2 years later and the scene of the marine viewing the hologram is still chilling. The way it falls out of some storage cubby and starts beeping, instantly reminding him of the family he has/had. Watching the memories flood back through his face. And the hologram itself. The way yhe camera sweeps around in one long shot is not only great looking, but it ties it in with the passage of time too. The way the battery indicator (I assume) slowly ticks down, and the slow pan back up to the marine's face, now with a beard to signify that this is at least a few months since he rediscovered the hologram. Beautiful. Makes me tear up every time I see it.

1:18-1:46 Hit me so hard. Had to go on the road for a couple of months for work. I hadn't been away from my family ever. When I left it was the hardest thing I had to do, being in this situation where you miss your family and they are so far away really hurts,. I was away for work, I can't imagine how soldiers feel in this situation it has to be 1000x worse. You know you're away and for a good reason, but you hate every second you are and can't wait to go back home to your wife and kids. I understand this mans pain and if any of you have ever had to be away from those you love, it really hits so different.
Yeah I get that this trailer when it debuted completely caught me off guard. I'm not a massive halo fan but know alot of the lore from interacting with my bro about it but yh soon as that hologram and music started I teared up n I barely know the characters but that's cos deep down I related to that instance in some form. Can't imagine how it must feel to be kept from your kids especially when you only hear their voice but wish to see them more than anything
My friend 6 years ago on halo 4: alright i have to get off I'll get back on later Last online 6 years ago This trailer drops Gets message from old friend "Its time"
This trailer is rather pre-rendered like a cinematic scene as title suggests, the game has the cutscene done real time in-game, which is why this trailer looked much better
0:40 the door was jammed and he had to put in a lot of effort to open it, but master chief at 4:34 effortlessly pushes the second half open, nice detail
343: 'we're taking halo in a new direction' [everyone hated that] 343: okay fine we'll return back the roots of the bungie style halo game [everyone loved that]
Honestly I still wish they kept chief’s original line of “we need to fight” rather than “ I need a Elon” I just feel like it fits a lot more and is also more dramatic as well as hypes you up more
Drax actually made a cameo in that trailer too, you just can't see him because,of course, he's invisible. This has been confirmed in 343's waypoint post for this trailer.
My childhood consisted of playing custom party and infection maps and game modes, hour long firfight games, terrific multiplayer, and one of the greatest stories ever told. While all at the same time makeing life long friends all around the country and even the world. This game series brings so much nostalgia and even tears to my eyes. Thank you Halo creators and contributors.
