@@kda3113 it's a one shot melee vertical as well. Vertical just concentrates all the damage across the player and the horizontal sprays it, so vertical is better.
Hm, swore it was 3 shots vertical to kill someone. Either way it’s the only shot gun in halo you can hit people with at long range, so if you have a good team and land one long range heatwave shot someone with a BR or something can 2 shot them.
The worst feeling is playing a game, seeing it clearly has all the makings to be awesome. Then get absolutely CURB STOMPED by pretty much everyone you come across and not knowing how they're getting all that extra damage
I feel your pain. People have said "get good" ....I'm trying! Lol Its clearly me but at times i feel I hit them with a full clip only for them to turn and take me out in seconds
Absolutely love the new Halo. It’s so nice to have a good one again finally. With some more time to get more maps etc. this is really going to be killer game.
Bf2042 may be buggy & lacking content but it’s much more fun than this game or call of duty. While this Halo is pretty good, it’s still an arena shooter at the end of the day & they get boring after a few matches a day.

Just watch pros play or just anyone who is a high rank in general. You can pick up a lot of things by watching them. I’m stuck in Diamond 5-6 but I think that’s more to do with my crappy internet 😅
Love watching you try HI out Frags, I've recently got into a dedicated loop for MP and enjoying the gameplay. Flag can be... A slog haha but enjoying the experience never the less
would love to see more halo content jack! My biggest recommendation to do better would be slow you sensitivity way down. I had to do the same thing because even if you miss 1/2 of a burst it could be the difference of a kill or death. Once you get familiar with where to peak and what gadgets do what you will do much better! keep at it man! ive never seen anyone do so well with the commando lol.
Been loving Halo with the friends after not playing since Halo 3. Pleasantly surprised to find Halo my new favorite multiplayer FPS after BF2042 was such a bummer for me
Haven’t played ranked yet and this is the first Halo game I’ve actually sat and played (been on PlayStation and PC my whole life), but I’ve actually been enjoying it. Great gameplay as always Jack; feels nice to have a 4-stack in this game doesn’t it?😂
Oh Halo. I remember in college in 2004 2005ish we had halo1 and halo2 Lan tournaments in our dorm against the other floors. Halo has lots of happy memories
I’ve managed to get to Onyx on open-matches and I’m now trying to achieve Onyx in controller only lobbies, currently sitting at diamond 1. I feel the auto-aim is noticeable but not stupidly strong, it’s hard to use a sniper against pc players, when a player steps in front of a player your shooting it will try track the other guy. You still have to aim for the headshot to get a clean kill and at top lobbies most of it’s about reaction timing, knowing when you can melee, learning spawn zones, Weapon locations, grenade bounces and locations best to defend in odd ball etc.
Just a bit of info for CTF. Sprinting with the flag reveals your location to the other team. If you just walk at normal speed, you are not made visible to the other team until you drop the flag or sprint.
Damn, Halo looks more like what I want in a FPS. A true Infantry onlye play mode with good close quarter combat maps! Haven't had that in Battlefield since BF3/BF4, where I loved the BF3 DLC CQC :D

Like the Halo content. I only got ok after grinding the weekly challenge for some emblem. Team slayer more fun than ffa. Love the default rifle and pistol with plasma nades.
Jack I suggest changing your weapon offset settings to push for onyx. I’m currently pushing for diamond (Plat 2) and the offset helps so much. The default settings for the weapons are atrocious.
halo infinite made me switch back from k&m to controlelr after I switched to k&m a year ago. as a person who plays shooters on a fairly high level id say that controllers are far superior than mouses because if you utilize the aim assist properly it is crazy OP.
@@blakkxsheep5912 guessing youre disagreeing, just look at the best earning warzone players and i mean earnings only from tournaments. Almost none of them are m&k players.
So many pointers from a no lifer like me. ( I’m not onyx but I am diamond) mangler is broken. Repulsor is more useful for unexpected movement, the gun fight movement meta is no jumping and for you pressing A and D to stutter back and forth and crouch up and down at the same time. Easier way to see enemies in super bright areas is to go to accessibility and go to reticle options and change the thickness and opacity all the way up and to change the enemy UI colors to something brighter or very contrasted like purple or yellow
